I carry mine with a round in the chamber and decocked....I switched my hammer spring out to a 18 pound wolf spring. I left the original recoil spring. It is perfect for me.

I havent tried the critical defense yet....I want to...but for now I have stocked quite a few boxes of silver bear haha...My p64 and Mak both eat it and love it.

I run an 18# in mine with no issues. It graduated to my carry gun after the spring install. I love it.

I put the hogue jr on mine...fits nice....was under 10 bucks shipped I believe..improves the handling immensely
