Re: Help! I lost my safety detent plunger!
You might think about ordering more than one. Robert in Warsaw combines shipping on multiple part orders if you buy all in one GB session, and he ships all the parts at once. You may have to add all your orders up yourself. His confirmation email may just give you the shipping for your entire purcha...

Re: How to make your own replacement magazine springs
Great work! I just happen to have a 3-pack of Wolff Makarov springs right now. This should work great in the used P-64 magazines that I stocked up on. Thanks heavyduty77.

Re: Found magazines for the P64
Looking closely at the mags that I just bought, I noticed that two are the earlier short-lipped variety. In other posts, I read that the later long-lipped mags may result in feed problems in the earlier (pre 1970) P-64's issued with the short-lipped mags. Does anyone know if the earlier short-lipped...

Re: Found magazines for the P64
I just received some mags that I ordered from SOG. Had the serial numbers engraved, but were in excellent, barely used condition. No rust and hardly any follower wear. Just in case anyone else is interested.

Re: My P-83
diescheize11: I picked up my EG Mak at a local estate liquidation auction. NRA used excellent condition, one spare mag and the usual leather holster. Very well cared for and posssibly the cleanest used firearm I've ever purchased. The Bulgy Mak is a Gunbroker auction purchase. The price seemed consi...

Re: My P-83
It's so easy to get the 9x18 Makarov bug. I started with a P64, then a P83, then a well-cared-for EG Makarov. Now I'm adding a Bulgarian Makarov, since some fresh surplus stock came into the US. Always on the prowl for another P64 at the gunshows. Love 'em all.

Re: Just ordered new grips
Yeah, I ordered a set grips about 3 weeks ago. Looked like I would have to wait about a 3 months. From all the reviews that I read, it should be worth the wait. I guess well both have to be patient.

Re: Wolf Spring question
I purchased 2 different weight recoil springs from Wolff. Does anyone know if the firing pin springs are identical, no matter which weight recoil spring it comes with? I was thinking that all of the Wolff firing pin springs are probably identical, since the firing pin spring weight should have no re...

Re: Parts???
Just purchased a spare firing pin, safety detent and trigger bar from the same gentleman in Poland. Didn't have to wait too long, considering it was from Poland. Shipping was $6 for all three combined into 1 shipment.

Re: Thanks for the tips, new hammer and recoil springs insta
I want to add my thanks to everyone for the tutorials and pictures. I purchased my first P64 about a month ago. Before firing it, I replaced my hammer spring with 18#, firing pin spring and recoil spring with 20#. Yes, the recoil spring needed flattening of the ends of the spring, just like others h...
