Re: P64's at Classic Firearms
Yeah. Plumb coloring has nothing to do with reliability or functionality that I know of. Just how your slide handled the blueing process. Should be just fine. How was the 2nd mag and holster? And Welcome to the Brotherhood. Give us a range report after you shoot it. And yours looks to be in pretty g...

Re: WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Wendell, Thanks for the followup. I think you will find that your findings fit in with a large number of us regarding accuracy, condition, reliability and spring changes. I stayed with the #17 hammer spring with the #20 recoil spring and am quite happy with mine. The single action has always been ve...

P64's at Classic Firearms
Just a note, Classic Firearms has P-64's with 2 mags AND an IWB holster for $219.00. They claim good to vefy good condition but no hand select as they claim little variation in condition from pistol to pistol.

I love it here too. Have no desire to go back to Michigan. Dont think I would want to live where I can't see all the way 'till tomorrow. Where did you live. I am in Wright.

Re: New-to-me P-64 to the Range
Welcome to The Brotherhood. Sounds like the bug for this little piece of wonderment has bitten you too as well as the gun! PPU ammo has been nited before as a little hot. In fact most european ammo is loaded hotter than US loads. I would try some Hornady ammo to see if your still getting the bulges....

Re: Recent purchase. Bad condition?
I am going to assume that they sent you a new your for your original purchase price and have offered to let you "keep" the old one so you won't have to pay to ship the old one back for a "discount" price. Considering the original one had so many issues that it does not even funct...

Re: Recent purchase. Bad condition?
Glad to hear they made good. What is the "discount" price? If it is low enough it might be worth it as a parts gun. Butthat is all dependant on what that "discount" price is. If you do end up buying it you will have a complete pistol as either a spare parts gun or to fix a it at ...
