When is a PPK not a PPK...
Have not been with you guys for awhile. Spent the past few weeks restoring an M1 Garand (Springfield, 43 receiver, Winchester 67 barrel). The wife and I visited a Barnes and Noble book store while on vacation, and I found an interesting book. The title is Small Arms From The Civil War To The Present...

dolang1, hello... As I understand it, the CZ82 came first and was designed as the Czech answer to the Makarov, chambered in 9x18 Mak for the Czech army. Following its success CZ started building the CZ83 as a civilian answer to the CZ82, chambered in 7.65mm, 380 Auto and 9x18 Mak.As I read, there is...

Source of many P-64 stuff
Got my holster, cleaning rod, and spare clip yesterday. I did a "buy it now" on GunBroker. The prices are going up. All parts appear to be unissued. The holster is brown, no electric pencil on the clip. I'm glad I reviewed other posts. I might have missed the little sleeve inside that hold...

FEG .380
I think that you will like it. I bought an FEG SMC-918 (9x18 Makarov) years ago that is mint. That is how I stumbled onto the P-64 site. I got it out one night and was searching the web for info and found this site. Anyhow, the FEG is well built and well balanced I believe.

A note of clarification and additions. I said 1/2 inch brush to apply oil. What I use is a brush with 1/2 inch long bristles. The width is only about 1/8 inch, just enough to hold about a drop of oil. I keep it in the box that holds my Brownells Magna-Tip Super-Set (screw driver set for firearms) al...

Thanks for the welcome ABWEHR. Thought I might get a bit wordy again. When I get a milsurp I start by cleaning the bore (Break Free CLP etc.). Than I break it down as far as possible (The Gun Digest Book of FIREARMS ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY by J.B. Wood is a great assist). Next, if it is really dirty, b...

Thanks bzinggg... This is all new to me. My wife is better at the internet then I am. We were at the Great Eastern gun show in Louisville, KY this past weekend and of 3000 tables we only saw one P-64. Thanks again...

I'm new to the P-64 site. I've been collecting and restoring old military for years. I just finished an FN-49 (Egyptian, 8mm) that took about three weeks. I stumbled on the site by accident and after reading for awhile, got over to SOG and ordered a P-64. Mine came Monday without a clip. Got back to...
