I have neen using brown bear and Hornady critical defense as my carry ammo, no problems here, except a good cleaning is is in order after using the Brown bear. It shoots great with either ammo. My 4" plates ring with every shot.

I am having the same problem, my moves freely and then halfway through travel is stiff, both ways. It is a 1976 hand select in like new condition from Aims, so it appears to not have been shot much.

Just Curious, how expensive is this conversion and do you have to make any other mods. I guess my question is, can u do the conversion to a bone stock rifle and have a budget hi cap build?

I have bought 4 from Aim and the last one looked rough, but the bore cleaned up great. It even had some shine to it. Functions and shoots great. BTW, all of the MN's from Aim are from R guns
