Re: Unlocking Slide

Are you doing this with an empty mag in the gun? Mine will stay open with a mag but not without a mag.

Re: P64 won't go together with Wolff 22lb spring

If you look at the old spring you will see the end that goes on first is flat and the new spring isn't. Just flatten the new spring the same as the old and it will work fine. I have the 20# on mine and see no difference in recoil, would like to see if you see any with the 22.

Re: Silver Bear vs Tula

I have used both, do not see much difference between them. As for Tula being dirtier, it may be a little, but not enough to worry about.

Re: Another New Guy Here!

dond, feed it anything you can find, it will eat it all. I have used Silver Bear and Brown Bear, Tula in both FMJ and JHP and have had no problems. As soon as I can afford to get the dies, I will start reloading.

Re: What is the Most Favored Wolff Recoil/Trigger Spring Com

I installed the 18# hammer spring and the 20# recoil. If I had it to do over I would have saved the money on the recoil and I would have gotten the 17# hammer. I see little if any change in the recoil with the heavier spring, as for the DA it is a lot better with the 18# and I believe it would be ev...

Re: P64 vs. Walther PPK/S

The mag release just takes a bit of getting used too. For me I just turn my firing hand to the right and use my left hand to release the mag and install the full one.

Thanks for clearing that up. I use the Silver Bear in my P 64, I guess I never looked that close.

Re: What 9x18 is OK for an indoor range?

How on earth could Wolf and Silver Bear ammo make sparks in there baffles? The bullet is lead with a brass jacket if I remember correctly, only the case is steel. I still think they are just trying to sell you ammo and a high price.
