Have 4 of these pistols, each one will produce a ragged hole easily tearing out the bullseye at 25 feet after 20 rounds using Silver Bear JHP ammo. The sights are not the best, but are usable. The fixed barrel must have something to do with the accuracy.

Experienced the same problem on a 1975 P-64. Purchased a new plunger and spring from gunbroker.com, installed and works great. About $12 for the plunger/spring. Do like the way Norm built his plunger though... very cool.
