Re: P64 Safety

E-mail Marcin at info@genuine-militaria.com . He sourced 2 P83 firing pins for me. He might be able to help with the P64 safeties. Here's his web site: https://genuine-militaria.com/.

Re: Brutal Recoil

I put the heaviest Wolf recoil spring in, and I think it made a big difference in recoil. Downside, it's hard to load a round.

Dave
It didn't on mine. It still slings them out like the factory spring did.

Re: Wolff Recoil Spring Fitment Problem

Even though the #22 spring makes it harder to assemble and rack the slide, I think it makes the recoil much friendlier.

Re: Another way the P-64 can discharge w/o pulling the trigg

Maybe there's an issue with the pistol. I tried the pen in the barrel and pulling the trigger and the pen jumped. I then pulled the hammer back with the pen in and released it without using the trigger and it didn't jump. I then tried this on my pistol. With an empty chamber and slide forward, pull ...

Re: Slide Popped Off My P64 During Firing

Oh WOW! That is crazy. This is a new one on me. I don't think I have read of this on the board yet so you've got something going. I am real glad that AIM is going to take care of you even though you're outside the warranty window. I am real glad to have been of assistance. Ditto! I bet finding a tr...

Re: Need a new decoker/safety

Ahahahahahaha!!! The golf course that was on McConnell AFB, Kansas was a big joke. Terrible looking course. I don't play golf, never had the inclination to play. However, a lot of my good friends said it was a sucky course. Thanks for your service Bob! It's shut down. I'm in the Air Guard at McConn...

K-balling was for Comm-Nav troops and the active duty, not Radar troops and the Guard! Just kidding, we did K-balling too. That sounds dirty!

I did Sarge! Recieved the safety and got it installed. Man, getting the plunger spring compressed enough was a pain! Seems to work OK. I'm going to the range tomorrow, we'll see how it does. I'm going to treat the new safety likes it's made of paper!

Thanks for the info on the firing pin spring. I was going to R2 it anyway, but now I know why!

Re: Need a new decoker/safety

Well, I just ordered a safety from Poland. Probably take 3 weeks to get here. The first time I shot the pistol, I hated the DA pull and stout recoil. Replaced the hammer and recoil springs with an 18lb and 22lb from Wolff. But I didn't change out the firing pin spring that came with them. Went out a...
