I had my PA 63 slide fly forward once. The trigger pull was so bad/heavy that I did forced the trigger guard down pulling the trigger and off we gooooo!

kilt1irono I had a similar problem with mine. Trigger will not reset. I would suggest to push/pull the slide back about 1/16 to 1/4 off an inch back, you should hear the disconnector go into the slide and the trigger should work in DA/SA. I got my Wolf spring kit a few days ago. My update, Replaced the hammer spring with the 20# one. I can pull the trigger on DA every time with some difficulty. WIll skip the 19# one. Pardon my ignorance, but what is the meaning of R2? I spent 20 years in the USAF as a POL troop and do not recall hearing that from the crew chiefs.

I disassembled the slide and cleaned up some areas with my files and polished the safety plunger and seens to be working a little better. Next time I take the safety out to change the firing pin spring I will polish some more with my dremel. The safety/disconnetor issue seems to have gone away due t...

Been around the forum for a few weeks. Finally got my C&R last Friday. Bougth two used mags from SOG as an appetizer. Today placed my order for my P-64 from AIM Surplus. I alreay own a PA63 for over ten years. Learning a lot from you guys already. Glad to join the club.
