Re: Used my CZ 82 shoulder holster
I got the whiz bang deluxe edition with two mag pouches. It arrived this week. Seems like a good basic shoulder rig, especially for the less than $20 to your door price. Not going to bother modifying it for the P64, as it works so well for the pistol it was designed for. I've been wearing it around ...

Re: forgot how much fun
I put 50 rounds through mine yesterday. That's about all I can stand. My hands are not "meaty" in the least and the recoil is just too painful for more than 50, especially with Silver Bear ammo, as that seems more snappy than the Brown Bear. They web of my firing hand hurt for about an hou...

My Stoner 415 IWB came today. *Now with Pics!!*
Ordered it at the last gun show as they had a booth there. I checked all the option boxes... 20 degree forward cant. Heavy stainless reinforced mouth. "Tuckable" belt clip. It seems very well made and fits the pistol like the proverbial glove. Excellent retention, yet an easy draw. I'll tr...

Re: Swapped out my mainspring over the weekend.
My Wolff kit shipped with 18,19, and 20 pound springs. Interesting. I'm going to practice the DA to SA translation and see if I can control it better than I have so far. Perhaps with the new spring the DA first shot won't cause me to get an inadvertent double tap on the first SA pull, like I was fir...

Swapped out my mainspring over the weekend.
Finally got my mainspring kit from Wolff. Popped in the 19 pound (middle of the three) spring. Very easy job, but then I do work with my hands for a living... The improvement to the DA pull was not as pronounced as I expected, so I took a close look at the original spring. Seems a former owner cut s...

Re: IWB Holsters Lebanon OH
Sorry for bumping an older thread, but I ordered a Stoner IWB holster for my P64 this weekend. I got all the options, forward cant, stainless steel insert in the mouth of the holster, and "tuckable" clip flap. As soon as I get it (they are saying 2 to 3 weeks) I'll post pics and my thought...

Hello.
Thought I'd introduce myself. Been shooting a long time, with primary interest in collecting and shooting military surplus, though I have modern stuff as well. No stranger to the 9X18 as I also own a Bulgarian Makarov and a Vz 82. Picked up my first P64 this weekend after a long time of admiring them...

Re: Help... My Slide Won't Come Off!
OK, half an hour into this I got it off.
It would indeed appear that I have an aftermarket recoil spring as the ends are not ground flat.
Ah the joys of learning a new platform.

Re: Help... My Slide Won't Come Off!
Hello folks, new guy here with the same problem, only my P64 has the stock springs. I purchased it at a show this weekend, disassembled it, gave it a through cleaning and lube, re-assembled with no issues. Shot 50 rounds of Brown Bear this morning, and now for the life of me I cannot get the slide o...
