Re: What Model Year Do You Own?

Howdy, In the past two or three months I've gone from owning 2 P-64's to 4. First, J&G sent an ad email, so I bought one, not expecting much, and I was right: fair wear on the outside and a CAI import stamp really about as big as a billboard. This one will be my carry pistol because it has plent...

Re: What Model Year Do You Own?

1972 1976 Both from Classic Firearms. I bought the '76 first, luck of the draw with hand select and received a nice one with only a little muzzle wear. About a year later, toward the end of Classic Firearm's stock, I bought another and received a '72. It came with more wear and no holster and is usu...

Re: Pocket carry of P-64?

The P-64 is a solid piece of steel in my hand, but disappears in the pocket of my baggy
khaki trousers. I sometimes forget I'm carrying. Very nice that way, solid but unobtrusive.

Re: Howdy from a new member

Howdy, Received my second P-64 from Classicfirearms last week. I'm sure none of you are like this, but I enjoy owning multiples of my favorite pistols, especially when they are reasonably-priced pistols like these. I can see buying a third in the spring. Range report and photos to follow, but for no...

Re: Grip Screw Question

Oops, right, said "washer" but meant nut--it's a small square and thin nut. My guess is "hardware store replacement" is answer to my query, since it definitely seems to be non-standard. Thanks.

Grip Screw Question

Howdy, The left side of my pistol has a square, steel washer on the screw end -- is this standard, does anyone have something like it, or is there a button or somesuch that usually covers it? The screw head on the other side is black, as in the photos I just Googled. Thanks y'all, Tikka.

Re: Howdy from a new member

I've shot a box plus through my 1976 P-64 and will shoot again this weekend. Functions flawlessly. I am more than ever pleased with my purchase. The kick isn't bad, the double action trigger is tough but I step up to the line, load, rack the slide, and don't worry about the DA. Best of all: the fun ...

Re: Howdy from a new member

My first P-64 arrived today, a 1976 the BBT brought to me from AIM -- my first purchase after renewing my C&R back in May. I am pleased with how it feels, fits, and works, and I am pleased enough with it so far that I expect to buy a couple more, as I enjoy doing with C&R firearms, to have e...

The Only Sarge:
Howdy and welcome from the shores of the bone dry Guadalupe River outside of Boerne, Texas.

Tikka:
So tubin' on Guadalupe is not so much fun as it was a year ago....
The Blanco River is dry also, down to the hot and dry limestone bed.

Howdy from a new member

Howdy, Just introducing myself and saying howdy from Texas. After avidly reading past posts for a few days, I decided I needed to join -- don't own a P-64 yet, but next week that will change. I do own a number of other C&R firearms, including a Bulgarian Mak, some T33's & M57's (both models ...
