Yes, the R61 is shorter than the PA63.

You can probably find instructions on Youtube.

The mags I bought took two weeks from the time he received payment. As others said, this is the busiest time of year for mailing. Be patient, he sent me an extra mag by mistake. Maybe you'll get lucky too. I'm honest and let him know but got no reply.

I have a RIA and have had no problems. I also found a NIB Norinco online and bought it for just under $500. including shipping and FFL fee. They are excellent guns. That may be another option.

What do you think a P-83 imported by Dalvar is worth? It has the larger dovetailed sights, two mags and cleaning rod. It is dated 1997, NIB, with manual. I am starting to thin out my collection of 9X18 pistols.

I also think the EG has the nicest finish. I own EG, Russian, Bulgarian and Chinese Makarovs. Don't know why, but I never have a problem reinstalling the slide on my EG Makarovs. I sometimes have a little trouble with some of the others. All have the original recoil springs.

Yeah I'm afraid I'll be doing the same in a few years. The Makarovs are my favorite surplus guns so they will be the last to go.

I don't like anything that goes into the bore. I won't mention the company, but I prefer the racks I use, that have been around for Years.

New member again. I had dfunk close my account because I could no longer post messages. I tried everything with no luck. I registered yesterday a a new member and can now post again. No idea what the problem was. The 9x18s are my favorite handguns.
