Re: Current Run on Supplies?

I respect all of your opinions. I just don't agree with them. Not sure what you disagree with really. Leftist politicians (notice I’m not talking about their constituents) are overwhelmingly in favor of gun control to some degree or another – usually to a pretty significant degree. That’s not even ...

Re: Current Run on Supplies?

That's nice that you own guns and all, but you're voting for people who are largely dedicated to the premise of taking them away. When people say that liberals are 'anti-gun', they're simply playing the odds...and with odds like that, I'd happily play against any house in Vegas. And if you think tha...

Re: Stop the madness!!!

All things considered, I can see why people are so concerned though, given the attitude of this “President” and current administration towards the Second Amendment.

Seems way high. They're a neat weapon to be sure, but not $350 neat.

I gotta imagine that would be a royal pain, given that the barrel is fixed to the frame.

Re: Range report and evaluation

"Anyone who has not swapped out the original springs on the P64 should not worry about this proceedure. It is easy and quick to do. If you are a recent owner of a P64, just do it, you will not regret it." Course you might want to try it stock first. No point in fixing something that ain't...

Re: Bulgarian Makarov Range Report

The basic PPK-esque design (fixed barrel attached to the frame) is potentially quite accurate. How Smith & Wesson managed to screw up my PPK is beyond me. While the accuracy is perfectly acceptable for what it is, all of my Com Block PPK-inspired guns will outshoot it, if not out and out embarra...

I'd hang on to the PA-63. They're a little harder to come by these days.

Re: safe to store magazines fully loaded?

Storing a magazine loaded won't hurt it a bit. People routinely discover magazines that have been inadvertently left loaded for many decades that work perfectly fine, much to their unwarranted amazement. In order to deform steel, it must be bent past it's yield point, something that should never hap...

Re: P-64 VS PPK-S

I have a PPK versus a PPK-S. Can't speak to longevity, however in terms of reliability, they seem to be about the same. Never had an issue with my PPK or any of my P-64s. In terms of accuracy, it's not even a contest; my P-64s will leave the PPK in the dust.

Re: Can anyone explain the heavy DA trigger?

I guess it all comes down to personal preference. I really don’t find the DA trigger pull to be all that objectionable on the three P-64s I own, and never felt the slightest need to change out springs. Having said that, I still do all my ‘target’ shooting in SA.

By the way, the PA-63 is an outstanding pistol in its own right. Every collection should have one!
