Still carrying after all these years
Just copy and add on to the lyrics - this would be to the tune of "Still Crazy After All These Years" Still carrying after all these years, Yes still carrying, still carrying, still carrying after all these years. Went out for a bite to eat the other night Dropped a 64 in my pocket Set at ...

loading and unloading magazines
I am going to copy and paste below one of the very best responses I have ever read regarding magazine spring fatigue. The author, Bob ???, is dead spot on. Kudos to him, whoever/whereever he is. Here is the link to the response also: http://en.allexperts.com/q/Guns-Firearms-Projectile-1501/Handgun-M...

Gun Show Prices - Keep it Current
Went to the Dallas gun show this weekend, June 14, 2008 Saw only two P64s in the whole show - but I may have missed some. They were both priced at $225.00 each. If you go to gun shows how about posting on this thread when and where and how many you saw and at what prices. Over time we might be able ...

Samuel Adams quote from 1771
Excellent choice of quotes from an Excellent Man. He was a true inspiration to his countrymen and an eloquent speaker. One of my favorite Samuel Adams quotes is below. It was in a speech he made after the Botson Massacre, attempting to rally support for the revolution. The use of the language and th...

Walmart ID Plans
I haven't been in a Walmart in a long time - I don't like that they put Mom and Pop stores out of business. Now I will never darken their door for yet another reason.

What I learned about my p-64 today . . .
I wasn't going to say anymore, but I changed my mind. I want to add this to the mix. One thing that we all have in common is that we make mistakes. We forget where we put our keys, we accidentally run a red light, we have car wrecks, we cut ourselves shaving, we fumble and drop a cup of coffee, we f...

I don't know if I am making anyone mad or not - I hope not, but then again if you get angry at hearing honest opinions from someone who has been around the block, then you may just have a larger set of problems to deal with anyway - and wouldn't last long in my circle of friends - they are a frank a...

If you just gotta walk around with the safety off expecting to have to do a fast draw and instant shoot out at any second without any warning at all - you might want to consider moving to a better area, that would seem to be a more "logical" solution.

I am an old codger that has seen enough human error with guns (some by very experienced and safe shooters too) to believe in keeping the safety on. The milisecond or two it takes to flip the safety off, well if you are in a situation that tight then God help you if you have gotten down to milisecond...

No, it is a prototype that they built just for kicks apparently. Too bad though, I bet they could probably maybe somehow sell me one....

Check this bad boy out - it also comes with a carrying handle and a flashlight attachment so you can walk around with it as a flashlight.

C&R License
I had a C&R and used it. I let it lapse because I did not like the idea of records being kept. I went to the Dallas gun show last month with a buddy - he purchased an sks. He was getting out his driver's license and chl to do the paper work when the guy told him no need - it was a private sell -...
