PrimeArchBentley: When I first got my P64's, the 'bite' was so bad, I used to say that if I couldn't defend myself with the first five rounds, that I would toss the assailant the pistol and ask him to put me out of my mysery. I found out, by posting on this site, that I was holding the pistol too ti...

P-64 as a carry weapon.
I carry the P-64 most of the time and, I too, use the clip holster. I also have another P-64 "nearby", at the ready in another situation. When it gets too hot and muggy down here (this last summer was terrible), I generally switch to the Kel-Tec .32acp. I'd prefer to go with the P-64, but ...

Anyone Fired Pow'rBall Yet??
I find that powrball is the most devestating cartridge I've ever personally used. I've tried it with 9mm, 9mm Mak and .40. This is far from scientific, but we shot milk jugs or laundry jugs filled with water with the tops taped on. With the FMJ, Glasers and JHP's, you got a hole--a little bigger hol...

Nice piece, papabear! I've always liked the Millennium. I think you got a real bargain.

Milsurpcop, I've got two 1968 P-64's, and the only ammo I've had any trouble with was the Hornady. It's not a frequent jam, perhaps one in ten or one in 12, or so, but enough to disqualify it from self-defense use. I know silver-bear is cheap, but I've had no problems with it whatsoever. I've also u...

Effectiveness of th 9x18
The powrball is the most devesting thing I've ever used, either in 9mm Mak, .40 or 9mm. It just seems to destroy whatever it hits.

Focusing on your sights
Seems like I remember that some manufactuer of blue jeans were actually shooting them with bird shot and charging like a couple of hundred dollars a pair, many years ago.

What is your favorite revolver?
Himmel, My Nagant revolver just "loves" the Triton JHP .32 mags! I think I read that the Fiocchi makes 178 foot pounds of energy, and that the Triton is like 230 foot pounds, which is about where 9mm Mak is, at least in general. Anyway, the old Nagant shot fast and true with the .32 mags. ...

Carguy, I'm surprised at you! That shirt is a real collector's item--a significant world traveler. And Papabear, given that you can point shoot putting all 7shots in a pie plate at 10 yards, I don't ever, ever, ever want to make you angry! Seriously, though, not only does that point shooting have a ...

I use a set that looks a lot like that. The batteries seem to last forever. But I paid double your $14.
Good deal!

Norm,
That is one supernice CZ-82. You have the standard by which all other CZ-82's are going to be judged by.
Very good!

Papabear: I found that article on point shooting fascinating, and tried it out this weekend at the range. The picture below (I hope) shows 20 shots hit and that was 100% with my CZ-82 at 3 to 5 yards, shooting volleys of two or three, no aiming. No glasses, by the way. I always shot the first shot f...

I agree totally with volfandan, but of course, we have 'other' stupid laws in this state, just not stupid laws related to guns and ammo--well, at least not many stupid laws relating to guns and ammo, that is.
Thanks for the heads up on the S&B.

Not a single P-64 at Knoxville, TN gun show
Guns & More was where I bought both of my 1968's. I got a really good deal, just slighlty over $300 OTD for the pair. That was before they had caught on, and I think, at that time, they simply wanted to get rid of them. Not the case now. If I hear of any other vendors having them, I'll shoot you...
