I carry my P64 pretty much all the time.
On occasion I will carry my Sig Pro 2022.

Re: Prosepective P64 owner
I am quite happy with my P-64 and that price is about right. I was just out at the range last week and put 350 odd rounds though my P-64. No failure to fire or eject the entire time and accuracy is excellent for the size. The trigger spring and grips are the only changes I have made to the firearm a...

Re: P-64 as a firearm for SHTF/WROL/TEOTWAWKI/zombie apocaly
Third - When a Zombie is neutralized you take his stuff. His chow, his guns and ammo. I thought Zombies ate brains? I think I'd pass on taking his chow! Well if a few zombie soldiers with field packs come wondering by and I get a chance to put them down their 3 - 5 day supply of MREs should...

Re: Bought my second one!
My first P-64 was a 1968. This one is a 1974. Condition appears to be unissued, The bore looks perfect and it came with two magazines. Gander Mountain had this one for $249.99. A little too much perhaps, but they threw in a free box of ammo, which lessened the sting somewhat. The salesman made the ...

I always carry any pistol with a round in the chamber safety on.
A little bit of practice and that safety comes off as I draw the firearm.

Re: What do you use to clean and lube you pistols with?
What is your favorite and why? I make my own patches out of old bed sheets. Took me about two hours to cut up a queen size sheet but resulted in about 3000 cleaning patches and wipes. I am not kidding I will have cleaning patches for a couple of years to come. Hoppes #9 - no need to say anything. A...

Re: Can't find extra magazines?!?
Hello, I was in the same boat a couple of weeks ago. I called around the area gunshops, etc... and no one had any P-64 magazines for sale. Then I got to thinking that just maybe a gunsmith might have one collecting dust in a parts box and checked around again. Found 2 of them at two different locati...

Re: I got shot by my P64 yesterday...
I usually carry my P64 with a round chambered, hammer down, and safety off. Most importantly I am happy to hear you are okay. I do not know you but that matters not to me. None of this is a criticism of you just curious about some things. 1. Why you would think that with the safety off that the P64...

Re: New Member and P-64 Owner Saying Hello
You may as well hit the range with some ammo and the 18 and 19. Start with the 18 lb and if you get any failures, move up to the 19. Oh yeah, welcome! :hi: Thanks. I installed the 19# already and am going to the range tomorrow. The swap out went without a hitch using the instruction posted on this ...

Re: New Member and P-64 Owner Saying Hello
Good deal. .......Glad you like it. Thank you. My mailman just delivered a nice brown envelope from Wolff Gunsprings with the 3 Hammer Springs (18, 19, & 20#) so I have something to do later on. I am going to just go for the 19# based on what I have read here and see how that works out with the...

Re: New Member and P-64 Owner Saying Hello
Have you had a chance to shoot your new P-64 yet? How do you like it? Some folks are collecting, some are shooters, others just want a nice small ccw pistol for protection at an affordable price. You really can't beat the price/quality of these handguns. My brother liked mine so much he had to have...
