I got the M57 with the Open Top design, which actually quite comfortable to hold. Next time I'll take picture on a dark surface so more detail will show. id not realize a wood table would blend the grips so much.

Re: My collection grows...
You like small blue pencils? Duh! He likes wooden tables Close, I like communist block guns that start with letters and end with numbers, so pretty much all of them :) The CZ50 I won on Gunbroker for $125.00 plus shipping. Great deal. The trigger is pretty rough compared to my P-64 but a little wor...

Re: What do you use to clean and lube you pistols with?
I use a generic gun spray degreaser. Then I use hoppes gun oil for the springs, barrel and hard to reach areas. I use moly lube applied with a paint brush to the rails, trigger bar, trigger, trigger sear and other moving parts. I wipe the frame and slide down to keep it dry no oil applied to parts t...

Re: Anyone have a Beretta model 1934?
I actually do not know if it was nickle plated by some previous owner or if it came from the factory like that. My assumtion is that someone thought it needed to be spruced up since most 1934's I see are blued. It was MFG'ed after the war and maybe it was nickled plated by Berreta for the consumer m...

Re: Anyone have a Beretta model 1934?
Since he never posted a pic, I will show mine. I have the Beretta M 1934 32acp MFG in 1946. Feeds ammo through it great, almost no recoil and holds 9 rounds. However my P64 can out shoot it in accuracy at all distances. I believe it is because the Barrel slides out during standard take down for clea...

Re: A Few SA Revolvers
I am also a fan of SA guns. Here is the best picture I could take of my two SA Revolvers. The left one is a .44 and the right is a .36
They are very accurate one I get them dialed in.

Re: 1970 P64 New to me...
I actually meant the trigger spring was broken not firing pin spring. I ordered one from Norm along with a slide stop spring and everything works great on the gun. I also changed the hammer spring to 18lbs. I just need to get more range time with it. That first shot recoil always surprises me. A lot...

1970 P64 New to me...
So I recently acquired this 1970 P64 from a buddy who doesn't understand anything mechanical. He sold it to me because it didn't work. Basically long story short, firing pin spring was broken and the hammer spring was a bit stiff. :D So $12.00 in parts and $100.00 for the gun. I say good deal for me...
