Re: Chambering a round

Best fix, in my humble opinion ... don't chamber the first round unless trouble has just found you and is coming straight for you, or you're getting ready at the range. If you are not confident enough to carry the gun with a round chambered get more training... or a diff gun or both. The BG is not ...

Re: I got shot by my P64 yesterday...

AD's happen with many guns... I have seen reports on just about every make and model. Any time you drop a mechanical device the likelihood of a failure of the safety mechanisms is pretty high as the gun really wasn't designed to be dropped esp on the hammer. Even so called drop safe handguns general...

Re: First one for me.

The myth that attorneys would go after a spring change is just that a myth. I have researched this to death and it has never happened in the USA. The only thing close was a guy that used a STOCK 10mm and the prosecutor used that against him saying that he used a hand cannon when that wasn't needed. ...

Re: Finaly got to shoot my P64 today.

These concerns are exactly why I always have a backup available while shooting. Also I use electronic muffs so I can actually hear what is going on around me better than without them.

If possible though a buddy is best!
