"Short" Marschal P-64 Grips
I had put the original longer Marschal P-64 grips on my gun before, but just didn't care for how they extended over the sides of the magazine. Beautiful work mind you, I just didn't care for the style. However, recently I saw the new Marschal "short" version grips on their website, and jus...

Re: GUN PARTS 50% OFF HERE AT THE FORUM
Gunney, can you put together a "parts that are most likely to need replacing" kit?
(to include a firing pin, of course)
I have an extra P-64 that I thought I could scavenge from, but I'd like to sell it and just have the most commonly needed parts tucked away instead.

Re: Wil you still carry Safty off with one in the chamber?
I saw the video on TV too. He didn't take the safety off. It was frightening to watch. I've had to rethink my P-64 for carry because my safety is too hard to mess with in an emergency, and "fire" is UP, not down. My Makarov, or CZ-82 would be a better choice for now. Love to carry my S&...

Re: Question about Marschal grips
Just an update to above, the A-hole gunsmith won't work on "Commie" guns. (He didn't seem to mind putting new sights on my CZ-82 last month however) After years of putting up with his surly attitude, I'm finally looking for a new smith. Not too many smiths here in south Florida, and the &q...

Re: Question about Marschal grips
I just bought a cherry 62' EG Makarov off of Gunbroker for $380, and ordered a set of those grips in Oil finish Bubinga for it (but without the star, since mine isn't Russian). Looks just like the same style as the original plastic, but in Bubinga :) Also bought a pair of EG mags for $40, again off ...

Re: Question about Marschal grips
I have the Zebrawood oil finish checkered with fingercuts on mine. I love it. I also included a photo of her in leathers :) I wipe her down with a light coat of mineral oil from time to time to prevent cracking, and add a nice natural shine. CZ82a.jpg CZ82c.jpg I just ordered the "short" M...

Re: New Marschal Grips and CC Holster
I have to ask since the new grips wrap around the release lever.
Do you have any problems ejecting the magazine and replacing it with a new one?
(Wouldn't want to complicate things when I need a reload in a hurry)

I'd sure like to have some spare parts instead of keeping my #2 pistol as a back-up parts source.
