Re: S&W Model 13
I let a friend talk me out of one in 1987 for $150. I guess I should have kept it.

Re: New to me Ruger Blackhawk 41Mag
Robert; Nice looking revolver! I have always had a soft spot for Blackhawks. I have several in 4 5/8" and even a 4" Bowen. Mine are all working guns. I have taken everything from moose and bear to woodchucks with them. I find that size to be well balanced and they make dandy little guns fo...

Re: Fobus OWB Holsters?
While I prefer a quality leather holster for my handguns. I have a couple of Fobus holsters. I have found the paddle holsters to be rugged, reliable and cheap in price. They hold my handguns close to my hip and the holsters have never moved around on me. No matter what I am wearing or what I am doin...

Re: Best BB guns for christmas.
A number of years ago I bought a red ryder for my oldest grandson. I didn't care for it much but he wanted one. I found it to be very cheaply made. After giving him the red ryder. I dug out the old 22cal Benjman pellet gun that his father and uncles used. I don't think the red ryder is still around ...

Re: Most Accurate Pistol I have ever owned!
If we are talking right out of the box with no custom work or fine tuning then I would have to say: My most accurate revolver is a tie between an old Ruger flattop 44 and one of my S&W 586's. My most accurate center fire pistol would be an early Sig P220. My most accurate rimfire pistol would be...

Re: C&R P64.............
Juniustaylor; I don't have a problem with a dealer/seller that isn't up on all the gun regs and wants proof the gun is a C&R. I am more than happy to deal with someone in that situation. In some cases it may come down to a S/N and date of production. It's the dealers that don't want to take a C&...

Re: C&R P64.............
I have bought a few guns off gunbroker. Most of the time I don't have much of a problem with C&R guns. If the gun is a C&R and the seller doesn't state in the add "C&R ok". Then I will send them an email before I bid asking them if they accept a C&R license. Many times the ...

Re: New Member, New P-64--Ammo Advice
Guess it worked! Just for the record. This was not with my gun. It was one of a couple of pictures I have seen posted on other sites about Wolf 308 failures. Again I do not know the owner of the rifle or the particulars of what happen. I don't wish to offend anyone or make a claim one way or the oth...

Not sure if this will work or not but I will try and post a picture of some Wolf 308 cases that failed.

Re: New Member, New P-64--Ammo Advice
"Cite it otherwise it is hearsay." Sir, was your above comment directed at me in ref to Wolf 308? I am not very computer wise so I don't know how to link or post pictures. However, one thread I recall seeing was on the Fal Files in the ammunition forum. It's a sticky at the top of the ammo...

Re: New Member, New P-64--Ammo Advice
I have been using brown bear for plinking in my P64 with no problems. It's been pretty accurate also. I popped a woodchuck in my hay field the other day using the tractor as a rest. I walked it off at 42 paces and I take a pretty healthy step. Not bad for a small pocket pistol. I don't know how true...
