Re: I wnet to a local gun show yesterday
I don't really go to gun shows expecting to find much, but I do usually pick up some jerky while I'm there. I'll also check out the t-shirt stands and get a few good laughs. I find myself looking more at milsurp instead of new guns and I'll always check out the ammo. This past month I got a few boxe...

Re: New Member, New P-64--Ammo Advice
I've not used wolf much at all on any of my weapons so I can't speak to it, but the debate back and forth is good enough for me, especially when it comes to the p-64 that has no spare parts. What I have put through the p-64 is S&B, WWB, Fiocchi, and Hornady. I have more of each of those plus a g...

Re: General cleaning and lubrication
I use Break Free CLP (cleans, lubricates and protects) on everything from my AR15 to my P-64. Simply use CLP with patches or q-tips and run them through or over until they come back clean. In the lube stage, If there's metal that moves or gets rubbed, it gets some. I've used it since 1993 when I wen...

Re: I decided NOT to change the springs and why.
I agree with "what works for one may not be right for another". I having said that, I predominantly carry a 1911 with wilson combat 8 rd mags, so in my case it's an 8+1 locked and cocked situation. For the P-64, I carry it chambered and safety off. For me, having the chamber clear is never...

True but you'd have to wait on this one because he's not making them right now. I was looking around but decided to just wait until he's back up and running. I think it'll be worth the wait.deltacornbread wrote:http://www.usgunleather.com/

Re: Range time
Welcome to the site Redbeard. How did you move your rear sight, if you don't mind my asking? Mine is off center to the left. I really enjoyed shooting mind for the first time too this past weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I got a nice 1.5" 5 round group from 10 yards right off th...

Re: Where to buy a P64.
+1 on SOG. I got mine there a few weeks ago. I ordered via internet on Sunday and it was shipped Tuesday. Only negative thing was that they had more p64's than they had holsters so I didn't get one! It was $192 and change I believe.

Thanks to you both. It's definitely a tough thing to have to deal with. With 2 kids already, I never imagined that it was even a possibility but I guess you just never know.
Thanks again!

First time shooting my new P64
For as long as I can remember, I've always gone to the range to clear my head and relax, and since my oldest daughter started getting interested in it, few things beat a day at the range with her. My wife miscarried this week so I really needed something to occupy my mind. Although it was really an ...

Re: P-64 vs cz82 recoil
I've had my p64 for only a few weeks but I'd like to order a cz-82 as well given how inexpensive they are. I'm keeping my eyes on the posts like this. I had imagined that the recoil on the 64 was going to be more severe than the 82 and I like the comparisons that everyone is throwing out because I h...
