Re: Trigger problem with PA-63

really sorry to hear of your problems, I had something similar happen to me, and in my case it was spray cleaning and lube that fixed the problem.

Is there any way that you can get with whoever sold you the gun and ask for a replacement pistol?

Re: First one for me.

Im not sure if a jury of your peers would even know the gun had a lighter spring in it unless you said something about it.......

Home made shredder ammo would be one thing, the coroner could pull the evidence out of the perp, but who would know something like the spring?

Re: C&R P64.............

Cant blame the guy for making sure that the gun is legal to sell to a C&R license holder. I had a modern pistol for sale, and a guy from a neighboring state told me a cop told him it was legal for me to sell it to him FTF.... needless to say, its not. If I had not checked up on it I could have c...

Re: Changing Re-coil spring!

Look at the ends of the new spring and the factory ones. The factory coil at the tip is beveled to a sharp point, while the wolff springs are round all of the way to the end. bevel your wolff spring and it everything will fit together fine. I had to do the same thing. I used a dremmel with a smoothi...

Re: new member, probably not a new question

You change out the hammer spring to lighten up the trigger.... I have a couple of new wolff ones for sale in the trade section. The prices are not written in stone.

I swapped out mine and it makes a world of difference.

Re: Slide is not pushing ammo in all the way

You say that if you push the mag up it feeds. Do you have a different mag you can try?

Perhaps the contact point on either the mag or the mag release where it touches the mag is worn on your pistol?

Re: PA 63 Question

My big thing is as long as I know that there is a safety setup of some sort when on fire and one in the chamber. You would be surprised how many places I posted this question and never got an answer, and I did not feel comfortable carrying with one in the chamber with a setup I was not sure about.

Just a guess, I had 2 ebay accounts when I sold and bought on ebay, one for selling one for buying. Kept things easier to keep track.... again, just a guess.

Maybe a different powder would do better? Different powders burn and act different from what I have seen.
