Re: post some your pet 9 X 18 loads
Norm I did some more work on the 116gr FN rimrock bullet loads, for my CZ 82. The bullet OAL of .965" was too long for the CZ. I coppied Buffalo Bores length of .955" and presto !!!! no more rounds hanging up the mag, load is working great in the CZ now. Thanks for the help and advise Ron

Got my new P-64 today from SOG
I just recieved my P-64 today, a 1971 roundhammer twin to my 1969 roundhammer. This pistol looks brand new, and I dought it has ever been fired. It is stiff!, had a heck of a time getting slide off frame. The safety looks and feels like it was never moved. the feedramp still had the origional bluein...

Needed a fix another P-64
Just noticed SOG had P-64's listed again yesterday. I grabbed my credit card and ordered another one. I just recieved shipping notice, and went back to the SOG site. Sure enough the P-64's were sold out again, but I got mine ordered just in time. I'm glad I got my fix. I am hopelessly addicted to co...

Re: Derringer trigger pull
Hi blinddog I have a davis derringer, and had the same problem. They are not to hard to take apart, but make sure you pay attention to the way the firing pin parts are installed and reinstall them in reverse. The trigger and sear , need to be polished, to remove tool marks. Do not remove any metal, ...

Re: post some your pet 9 X 18 loads
Norm. Thanks for the suggestion. I believe that Buffalo Bore Ammo , uses a Shorter O.A.L. I Will redo these loads with a shorter O.A.L., as soon as I get time. The load works great in my PM Makarov, it may still need some more adjusting to work in the CZ82. may need XP Mag springs, but Wolf doesn't ...

Re: post some your pet 9 X 18 loads
As to my post on the Rim Rock 116gr FN bullet. Norm is exactly right ! I did a further in depth testing of these loads and, My findings are as follows. P-64 not suited, recoil is too abusive, and slide velocity would hasten wear on this small pistol. PM Makarov As stated before this load is extremel...

trouble in p64adise
I was introduced to the world of [ dumbasssssssss] I took my P-64 grips & slide off today, and installed a new 20 lb wolf recoil spring, and wolf 18 lb hammer spring. I then got the bright idea to coat the trigger bar and other parts with a little moly grease to help with the trigger pull. I the...
