Re: p64 need help bad any experts who can help..........

Got a set of calipers today and decided to pull out my still SAO P-64 and take some measurements. The Brown Bear empty cases, and the unfired rounds measure +/- 18mm case length (17.89-18.09 depending on operator steadiness). And then I decided to check the chamber. It measures +/- 14mm. I'm kind of...

Re: Can't find extra magazines?!?

I bought 3 from yakooza on gunbroker for $20 each. They arrived fast, in less than a week. 2 were perfect but one wouldn't fit in the gun. When side by side compared with a good mag it was just slightly wider, but otherwide identical. He replaced it quickly and without hesitation. He is in NJ.

Re: p64 need help bad any experts who can help..........

I have a somewhat similar but not identical problem, if I'm understanding your's correctly. With mine everything works fine when dry firing, and everything even works fine single action. But when I chamber a round, or even an empty case, and drop the hammer the gun won't fire double action. The trig...

Mystery part

I totally disassembled my p-64 to soak it in mineral spirits, and when I reassembled it (following the guide here) I ended up with this extra part http://www.thecrimsonpirate.com/guns/UnknownPartA06192010.JPG http://www.thecrimsonpirate.com/guns/UnknownPartB06192010.JPG http://www.thecrimsonpirate.c...

Re: Assembly/Disassembly Sticky?

Doc I use mineral spirits for cosmoline, soaked it for a day. I trimmed a fine brush down to a quarter inch for scubbing small areas. But the alcohol works fine too. Welcome to the group,as you can see everyone has different ideas, and that's good. BTW if the 17# doesn't workout you can always sell...

The website works, but the forum still gets the error. I refreshed a bunch of times to make sure.

Re: P64resource.com not working through AOL??

AOL is not like Paypal are they? I have no problems with PAFOA, gunbroker, or any other gun related sites through aol. So far it's just p64resource. Fortunately I can use internet exploder to get around it. I've been trying to find a contact for aol help or technical support, but apparently that is...

P64resource.com not working through AOL??

Hey, I don't know if you guys are aware, but trying to access the site through AOL gives a 403 not authorized error. I don't know if you have their whole range of IPs blocked, or if it's something on AOLs end, but you may be missing visitors because of it. If it's on AOL's end let me know, and I'll ...

Re: trigger does not release hammer.....

Did you get this worked out? Mine is doing almost the same thing. All stock, cleaned (will repeat cleaning and see if it helps). Everything works empty, everything works with ammo SA. Use the decocker and the trigger bar never moves back up. Blazer and Fiocchi ammo. On initial disassembly after the ...

The Hamburg, PA location still has them at $179, though the salesman told me I got the 2nd to last one Saturday.
