Re: Trojka Druh (Three Friends)

Concerning the grips on your cz82--- are they walnut with grey stain? Thanks. The CZ's grips are Zebra wood with gray stain. The grain shows up better in different lighting. FYI - M57 grips are Wattle wood with red stain. P64 grips are Walnut wood with walnut stain. Dennis does an excellent job mak...

Re: New Marschal Grips and CC Holster

Ken, Thanks for the compliment on the grips. On Dennis' order page, I just ordered Walnut grips, red stain with checkering. No special instructions given. And yes, he does send you a new allen head screw. I will warn you however, that it will take around 2 months give or take a week until you get yo...

New Marschal Grips and CC Holster

I just got my new Marschal Grips today. Thanks Dennis, you did a very nice job making them! They are made from walnut wood with red stain. I may order another set of grips from Dennis after seeing how well he makes them, but the only trouble is deciding on which ones to get! I also included a pictur...

Re: Broken Safety

jobot Don't want to worry you, but it sounds just like mine before it broke. It was really, really tight. It took an awful lot of effort to move it from the fire position to safety position and back. I lubed it up pretty good and worked it back and forth for a while. It seemed to help a little, but ...

Re: Broken Safety

Final Update. Cabela's did not have another P-64 when I got there (bummer), so I ended up getting $200.00 worth of Makarov ammunition for the one P-64 I still have. I am going to a gun show the second week of June, so maybe I'll find another P-64 there. I really do like this firearm and plan on it b...

Re: Broken Safety

Well Cabela's called again. It seems as though their gunsmith is unable to locate a new safety. They will either trade me another P-64 they have in stock, or let me put the money towards another firearm or merchandise. I'm going down there tomorrow morning. Tomorrow is my day off so I'm going to spe...

Re: Broken Safety

UPDATE: Cabela's called today. I wasn't home, the wife took the call. They said their gunsmith has ordered the parts necessary for repair and it should be ready within a week or possibly two. I went down there today to try and find out where he ordered a new safety from, but nobody knew. In any case...

Re: Broken Safety

UPDATE I bought this gun at Cabela's a few weeks ago. I went back today and found out the gun has a 30 day warranty. They will repair it if they can, or replace it if they can't. They have a few of these in stock if you can believe that! So it looks like I get a new safety either way. And the best p...

Re: Broken Safety

Norm, Thanks for your reply. I was shooting Blazer 95 grain ammo when I noticed the safety wasn't working. I had also shot about 2 clips worth of Hornady 95 grain before I started using the Blazer so its hard to tell exactly when the safety actually broke. Possibly, it could have had a hairline crac...

Broken Safety

Hi Guys, first let me say its great to be here. I bought my P-64 a short time ago simply because of the price, but I have since found out how nice of a little gun it really is. I also didn't realize the following this gun has. It's great to find a place like this to share common interests about this...
