Re: Mosin Nagant collecting
Thinking about picking one of these up, but I really want a carbine. Is it possible to pick up a cheap 91/30 and convert it to a carbine? Any idea what's involved? Thanks!

Well, I went with the CZ 82 from AIM. I'll post pics when I get it. Now to start saving for the Mak!

Help me decide!
Going to make a new purchase. I'm having a hard time trying to decide between a Bulgarian Mak or a CZ 82. I do plan on getting both eventually. Which one would you pick, and why?

Re: Dream come true...
Wow, thanks for posting pics of that! I've been seriously thinking about picking one of those up to reload .380's. I'm not a high volume shooter, so I think one of those would be just fine for me.

TZ 75
Saw one of these at the local gunstore. They wanted $299 for it. I've never seen one before except here:

Looks like a nice gun. Is this worth the price? Anyone ever shoot one? Looks like a cz 75 on steroids.

Re: Just picked up my P-64...a few pics
Looks nice! I've been meaning to post up pics of my new P64, just have to take some. I was thinking of changing out the springs like you, but after I put a few hundred rounds through it, the DA pull has gotten much better. I think I'll leave it as is... I kind of like the heavy DA as sort of a safet...

Re: wrap around grips for a p-64?
just an fyi but wd40 will eat rubber and silacone products. it may work great, but its chancey in the long run Actually I think that's pretty much an urban myth... WD40 is a petroleum based product. From the WD-40 website: http://www.wd40.com/faqs/#a98 Actually, I really don't care for WD-40 myself.

Re: Dilemma for 2010
[/quote] CZ70 is .32 acp. PA63 is generally unpleasant to shoot according to most people that have one. P64 can be a bit unpleasant and there are no replacement parts available. The Mak? Easy and fun to shoot. Parts galore for sale. 9x18 dries up or even disappears? Convert to .380 with aftermarket ...

Re: Dilemma for 2010
I'm looking at a CZ70 too.. for the price, why not? If I were you I'd also look at picking up a Bulgarian Mak before the prices go up even higher.
