Re: P-64 Not Fully Chambering Rounds

Maybe. You have not given much information to go off of here. You may need a stronger Recoil Spring. But you may just need to clean out the chamber and/or the Cosmoline. With out know the history and details of your P-64 we can only speculate at multiple causes.

Re: FFL part/blowup diagram

Hi, Any chance of these photos being re-uploaded? Perhaps a site like imgur.com which doesn't have bandwidth limits? I think they are still there. It just that Photobucket changed their policies, and dfunk needs to change a sharing setting. Also have you looked in the 'Official Manual + Disassembly...

I didn't know the Safety had a "shoot" setting. I thought that was an option on the Trigger.

Re: Slide stuck locked back (possible easy fix?)

When you installed the Wolff 22lb Recoil Spring, did you make any changes to it ahead of time? It's been a common problem that the Wolff Recoil Springs do not fit correctly unless you ground the ends flat to match the ends of the OEM Springs. That could be part of the problem. There are countless th...

Yes. It has been done with success. If you search here there is a thread outlining trimming them down to match, with pictures.

Re: Safety catch broke

For some reason the First picture, maybe of the Safety won't load anymore. Safeties are very scarce and difficult to find. Your gunsmith probably won't be able to find one. I guess I should rephrase this to 'Difficult to find at a reasonable/affordable price'. Gsdsarge, Now that I can see your pics...

I assume you have already seen these: http://stevespages.com/pdf/astra_a75.pdf and https://archive.org/details/gunmanual_Astra_A75

The parts list in the back should help. Otherwise from what I'm seeing, it should break down like a Sig.

Re: slide stop needed?

As noted, a little bit is okay. However if you feel it is excessive and/or it stops holding the Slide open; Then you probably need to replace the Slide Stop Spring. Norm makes a better Spring sold here: http://www.p64resource.com/goods.php In most cases it's the Spring that is going bad, not the act...

Not really. They are still there. But at $138.64 out the door pretty steep if you only need one part. There are still two more available too, if you look.

Re: Slide very difficult to reinstall

Are you using the Original Recoil Spring or A Wolff Spring? I have Wolf springs but I am using the original. OK so the Original should be fine. One thing to note (I'm not sure if this was mentioned in the video you watched), the Trigger Guard will mar up the Frame. The Trigger Guard will also pop b...
