Re: Looks like the forum is fixed
dfunk , Glad to see you're still here and kicking along with the p64resource site and forum. Sucks though that you had to set aside US GUNLEATHER. Maybe you'll be able to bring it back some other time. For the other forum members, this site /forum does not exist with out the efforts and resources t...

Re: Looks like the forum is fixed
At this time, the forum says dfunk was last active Tuesday, April 18th, 2023. It is possible he is sorting through a backlog, and maybe doesn't have the bandwidth to respond currently? His other site usgunleather is still active, but says production has been discontinued. Since the lights are on at ...

Re: P64 Safety
Good luck. That post was from two years ago, www.robertrtg.com is sold out now. There have always been more people looking for P-64 Safeties than available supply. When they come available they get bought up quickly...

Re: Magazine getting deformed
Thanks for the replies. I have ordered a heavier recoil spring and will let you know how that goes. I also need a grip. Aftermarket is fine. Any suggestions on grips? I would check Gun Broker, or eBay. There are some here , but they are from an armorer's kit and would require fitting. There are som...

Re: Magazine getting deformed
Do you know if the previous owner has made any modifications to this P-64? How worn/use does the P-64 look? You should not be breaking grips so frequently. It's possible that the Recoil Spring is incorrect, or going bad. If you continue to use it as-is I'd guess you will encounter more parts breakin...

Re: CAD Model
Yeah probably find a 3D scanner and software that will convert it to CAD... The problem with a scanned image is that it’s a raster image and is not very precise. cad drawings are vector drawings. Based on a given distance in the X,Y,Z directions. unless you’re digitized image has true dimensions on...

Re: Hello
Its nice to be here and hope to meet and learn nice things with like minded people Welcome It's a good Forum, a lot of knowledge and resources here. Although, as the supply of P-64s have dried up, so has the discussion. But if you do have any questions at all, feel free to ask. Also many of us have...

Re: New P-64 and range report
When I saw your post, I noticed it was no longer present. I assumed that dfunk deleted it. The post was actually quite dangerous! I wish I could remember who posted it originally. It was most likely deleted. I had replied to it, quoted in my reply, and mine was deleted as well. The post was not tru...

Extended Magazine Release (Upgrade), Firing Pin (Spare/Replacements), Disconnector (Spare/Replacements), Bobbed (Flush) Hammer (Upgrade), and of course the Safety (Spare/Replacements).

Re: I just bought a broken P64...
My last range trip with this gun was fun! I was hitting steel fairly regularly--even in DA! There is one last issue I'm having... When I flip the safety off, the trigger bar doesn't always lift for a DA pull. At this point, I think I'll just have to polish the contact points and shave the channel i...

Re: Holster suggestions for Radom P64.
Not sure about open carry, but I use a Galco IWB for a PPK. It fits great. Did you buy the PPK USA or PPK EUROPEAN version ? It does not matter. If you choose either, it will point toward the same model holster. They have added a few more options since I got mine. The one I have would be current mo...

Re: CAD Model
Why are you wanting a CAD of the P-64? Also what were your real expectations that a CAD of it existed? The P-64 was designed and tested in the late 50s to early 60s. Back then CAD did not exist... At best they maybe had Blackline or Blueprint Plans. But they would reside and be archived somewhere in...
