Re: Corbon Powerball 70gr
12.5 inches of penetration from a .380 is pretty amazing.

Re: Corbon Powerball 70gr
May have to go to range and chronongraph some after it gets a little cooler. As of today we have had 51 days of over 100 degrees, a record 1936 was last time this happened. I am not tough enough to handle the sun. The troops of ours in Irag are amazing to handle that kind of heat with all that equip...

Re: Made some videos
Great video Junius, I never took the P64 apart that far I did take the P83 apart and replaced the sear and sanded trigger bar and deburred several parts. The guy was right you make it look easy now I know its a little harder for me than that. You would make a hell of a gunsmith and if I ever take my...

Corbon Powerball 70gr
The Corbon 70gr Powerball has a filled nose so it will feed every time. Looks like pretty awesome ammo for carry. Little expensive to just shoot up on range. Does anyone here carry or shoot the Corbon round? Would like to find out if it good for the P64.

Re: Final Range 116grs.
Let me know how it all works out. I believe as long as we keep the FPS down round 1000 we will avoid the leading problems. You are right thou if my soft lead filled the rifling better I would get a little more speed and umph. I will have to look up how soft the lead really is.

Re: Final Range 116grs.
I also polished the loading throat of the loading ramp. Its like a mirror which may have helped me feed also. I tried 9mm brass reworked in 9mm Mak tried it once and threw it all away. I am really satified with the Strarline brass and wouldn't use any other now. One question I have for you does the ...

Re: Final Range 116grs.
fish,
I used .970 as a COL and you used .955 as a COL. This could be reason you are getting more pressure than I did. 3.6 sounds like the best load for you.

Re: Lots of gun parts
I bought a new safety for $20 so I thought that was ok but that was a couple of months ago. The place is in Poland so you get factory parts and I am happy to just have a good source.

Re: Good load for P64
I chrongraphed the 3.6grs of W231 and 100gr LRN Missouri Cast bullet and was a little disappointed it shot as follows with ten rounds: Low 862 high 950 avg 904 es 86 sd 29 I was hoping the average would be around 950fps but they weren't, it didn't shoot bad and you could shoot it all day without a l...

Lots of gun parts
There are a lot of gunparts on gunbroker for the P-64, I just bought a third magazine for $25.00 + 5.00 shipping (came from Poland). It was a brand new magazine so I am happy. http:/www.gunbroker.com/auction/searchresults.aspx is where I ordered the gentleman who sells the parts is real friendly and...

Re: Final Range 116grs.
I don't know why the CZ82 only takes a 18# recoil spring even the P64 can be had in a 22# spring. Makarov.com say it has a shorter slide surface than the PM Makarov but I don't know so I probably would back off of the 3.8 to say 3.6grs for your pistol. If you chrongraph it the fps ought to be pretty...

Re: Final Range 116grs.
I didn't have that problem with my EGerman Mak. I used the heay 22# Spring from Wolf Springs and have reloaded so of the rounds fired with the 116gr bullet. I did say these were heavy defense rounds and only have 50 or so loaded for my Mak. I plink with something else and only use these for carry so...
