Re: Ammo prices. Wow!

There is a gun show going on right now in my area – don’t go because prices are nuts and the vendors mostly seem shady to me. Sometimes I go just to get ideals and handle something I’m thinking about getting on-line, but want to see first. My local gun shops are poorly stocked so the shows are my be...

Re: Best solvent/cleaner for bore?

I've been using Gunslick Bore Cleaner Foam on my P64 and other guns. Seems to work very well. Any warnings or cautions with this product for a P64?

Re: P-64 Spring Projectile Distances

Well this is more a story about not launching, but I guess might still qualify. After reading the boards I knew I didn’t want to disassemble my P64 without some method to control projectile parts. After first time out I’m thinking that I don’t need to run many rounds through the P64 to gain accuracy ...

Re: 22 pound recoil spring.

I put 50 rounds through my P64 over the weekend – and have the bruised hand to prove it. I put the 22# spring on my after the first 20rds and I found it helped, but as was pointed out, it’s like putting bubble wrap on that rented mule. Helps some, but it’s still a mule not a Shetland pony… Still IMO...

P64 shooting recoil question

I'm thinking of getting a P64 for my wife to shoot and maybe carry. I'm worried that even with a replacement recoil spring she is not going to like shooting it. I've got a TT-33 and XDM-40 and the recoil of both are too much for her. How would the recoil w/ a new spring compare to a full size 9mm lu...
