I was shooting Wolf ammo.

First time that has happened to me. I have shot about 800 rounds of it so far.

I was at the range today to sight in some rifles etc.. when I decided to fire the P64 a little before I came home. I pulled the trigger and smoke and burning powder came spraying out the ejection port. Didn't really burn me but it did scared the crap out of me... There was a cartridge jammed in the ...

It was a great day. Got home from the Gun Show with a new toy (S&W 22A Target Pistol) and find my new Grips in the mailbox. :) I'll get some pictures in the daylight tomorrow and make sure I get one of the back-strap. Just got back from the range after shooting 250 rounds through it. Very happy with it but I do need to get the hi-vis sights. I was using Remmington 22 Thunderbolt. Out of 250 rounds I had about 8-10 duds. The cases were crushed in by the firing pin so it must just be crappy ammo. Haven't used 22 am...

Keep up the fight. There may be some sane legislators (well not in Chicago) that have a clue.

Yep, I wouldn't feel comfortable with a any self defense round that I haven't had at least 100 rounds through my gun with ZERO jams etc...

Just got back from a Gun Show in Concord, NH 200 tables and saw 4 P64's. One dealer was asking $177 for his 1974 model. Another dealer had two for $195 each and a third was asking $289. Clearly the third guy was smokin' something. Saw several FEG PA63's. One guy had one he said I could have for $125...

Not preachin. Just thought it was cool that at least some Hollywood types have a brain.

Just took off the grips so they don't burn or melt. Everything else is metal so there shouldn't be a problem. The cosmoline is suppose to melt at 140-150 degrees so don't get it hotter than that.
