My new P64
Personally, I like the "used" look on that P64...I wouldn't change a thing. For one, you won't have to worry about carry wear you inflict. Second, you pull that on a bad guy, he's gonna see an experienced piece, not just some "pretty boy" pistol bought at the gun boutique.

recoil info-come on, put in your 2 cents
I went with the 20lb Wolff recoil spring, and put on the handall jr. Shot my P64 today, and recoil was noticeably better.

Range Report: P64
The link provided gives no technical reason not to use silver bear 115's. I am perfectly happy with standard weight ammo in 9mm mak pistols, in fact, I prefer FMJ. I did buy two boxes of the 115's, and have shot a couple mags through both my CZ82 and my P64. Both pistols seemed to like the ammo just...

Marschal Grip Question
Thanks.
Yeah, I would be interested to know how the new ones are, and how big the gap shown in the last post in Denis's ad is.

Marschal Grip Question
Been considering getting a set for my P64...
I am leaning toward checkered walnut, oiled finish.
Any consensus on which wood is best for the P64? Has the cracking issue been fully resolved? I know he does good work, I have his grips on my CZ82.

P64 flap holster
Sure, many holsters will "sorta fit", I even used an eastern european walther PP holster before I got the real thing. It worked just fine. I, for one like to accessorize a military pistol with the proper holster. Someday, after I am gone, it may add to the value.

P64 flap holster
A P64 will not fit "perfectly" in a makarov holster--you might think so, till you try a P64 holster. I got one from Bartos, and I couldn't be happier. It fits like it was made for the P64---because it was!

P-64 as a carry weapon.
I have often carried a browning hi-power or a 1911 "mexican style" with no issues at all--it is not the place of legislators who in reality, no nothing about proper forms of carry to dictate how I carry my pistol, nor is it your place.

Silver Bear 115gr...Too Much?
I shoot it with no problems...just not a steady diet of it. I do like it for carry.
