HOW TO DISASSEMBLY YOUR AK RIFLE
In my case, I used High heat two-part epoxe on the sides of the trunion (front & rear) as well as on the screw threads, being carefull to fill the holes drilled in the reciever with epoxe as well so that the screws were fully bedded. The rifle has had about 500 rounds through it with no evidence...

The Hungarian AK is also very high quality. The amd65 I screw-built has beautiful finishing. While I like the Romanian I had built from a kit, it is not nearly as nicely machined as the amd.

HOW TO DISASSEMBLY YOUR AK RIFLE
Thanks-you are certainly right, bartos, there are AK fans here--I am one. We are lucky right now in America, in that there are a large number of ex-polish folding stock AK's which have been cut into parts kits and are fairly easy to build back into working condition. They are beautifully made and ma...

What does your P-64 do?
From one Buckeye to another, Hi, tunnelrat!. As to pain from shooting, I always found it laughable when the makarov guys on gunboards would whine about the "horrendous" recoil of the P64. Try shooting some full bore 44mag loads through a thompson center contender using the old "sawbac...

What does your P-64 do?
I use mine for low profile carry in a retail situation. Funny, I also own a CZ82. While I own other more powerful handguns, the CZ82 has become my favorite ---counting CZ83 plus cruiser and I, thats three.

I prefer to shoot at an outdoor range because- 1. The local indoor range is a tremendous rip-off. 2. I like being outdoors and when shooting outdoors, I sometimes find it fun and useful to simply pick out a point on the dirt backstop and shoot at it. At the state operated outdoor range I shoot at, T...

The other possibility is the money belt type sold by bianchi. you wrap it around your midsection under a shirt. Probably not good if you have a spare tire like me!

I always shoot at 25 yards, and have no problem hitting a pop can at that range with every shot from my P64. Self defence isn't justified at 25 yards? maybe in your world. I, for one believe in streching the accurate range of my pistols. 50 yards is not a problem for me with most pistols, and I am v...

Everybody, go to his site and email him direct, let him know you are serious about buying grips. I did, and I mean it--I'm buying as soon as they are available. I can't wait to see how the P64 looks with a nice set of wood grips.

I read over on gunboards that cor-bon is soon to release the powerball in 9mm Mak. Since cor-bon has never impressed me in other calibers I have tried, I probably won't buy any, but I thought you might want to know... By the way, if you want to try some really great 40s&w ammo, google doubletap ...

Who Has Used Their P-64 to Stop Would-be Attackers
Come on, this is still America, and one can still build firearms for one's personal use. I bought my reciever (OOW) and had to fill out a 4473 and have the instant check. The reciever is the firearm. Theoretically, you could be arrested for concealed carry, I suppose, if it were in your pocket...

My response to P-64 snobs
After many post wars with the makarov snobs on gunboards, I have found one come back that shuts them up--"yes, the Makarov is a fine pistol--but the CZ82 blows it away!"

At the Medina Ohio gun show last weekend, Silver Bear 115's were $6.95/50, Fiocchi FMJ was $7.95/50.

Who Has Used Their P-64 to Stop Would-be Attackers
Yeah, I made a screw-built amd65. It turned out great and is a handy piece. I also had a Romanian "G" built for me---it has become my favorite semi rifle with it's laminated wood stocks.
