Ammo prices. Wow!
Silver Bear is more accurate in my P64 and 4)Makarovs,than Fiocchi,Federal,or Hornady.Try AIM Surplus,they are $9.95 a box.Ten boxes with fast shipping,runs under $120.

P64 RANGE REPORT
Found it is best to take at least one other pistol with you to the range. Shoot a magazine through the P64, than shoot something else and come back to it. Had no real hurt, and a lot more fun.

PICKED UP THIS EAST GERMAN MAKAROV
Two weeks ago at a local show, picked up this East German Makarov. Came with one matching mag,Chinese grips and a holster. We don't see many in my area any more, and why no one snatched this one up before me,I do not know. Paid $225 out the door.Got the proper grips for it now. Some photos for your ...

P64 RANGE REPORT
Took my P64 to the range for the first time the other day. Ran Hornady HP,Fiocchi,Federal and Silver Bear through the gun. No failures to feed, eject or fire in over 200 rounds. The Silver Bear was the most accurate (and cheapist) by far. Replaced the springs,as recommended at this forum. With 6 roun...

THREE POCKET COMPANIONS
Can shoot it without moon clips, some brands of ammo fall out others snug and need a pencil to push out. The moon clips are super easy to use, faster than any speed loader, and hold up very well in your pocket(and never inadvertantly dump the rounds). Own some 40 odd handguns, and if it ever came to own...

FIRST 9X18
Bought this Russian IMEZ IJ70 18A a while ago,not knowing really anything about it,other than it was a Makarov. When they first started importing these and East German made pistols, some years ago,I did not buy any. Now these pistols sell for nearly 3 times what they were originally selling for. Thin...

RUSSIAN PM MAKAROV
The watch,I picked up right after the Berlin wall fell. It is an 18 jewel mechanical pocket watch, comemmerating WWII Order of the Red Banner. Arussian gentleman was selling them for $25 at a local gunshow. Had all kinds, should have bought more, but really did not know if they were junk or not. Have ...

Thanks, The pistol is a Russian Ishevsk manufactured Pistolet Makarova. Some time in it's life it made it's way to Bulgaria. Then was imported and marked with Bulgarian pistols. The seller advertised it for just what I described. Paid under $500,for it delivered with shipping and transfer.A bit high...
