Re: another source for p-64 grips!

I rechecked the grips, and yes they do extend slightly over the end of the frame. Just like I'm assuming you would hope they would. bib

my problem with hammer springs..............

As many of us know and have addressed the trigger pull in double action for the p-64 is difficult. There has been much good dialogue on fixes and through wolf springs some excellent alternatives. I raise a similar issue the the cz-70. While it is only a 32ACP if you have one I'm sure you would agree...

Re: How to post pictures

Ok, I know in this case I just can't figure out how to do it. I have a camera photo on file on my pc. Can someone take me through the steps (easiest ones too) to post it on a either a reply to a private message or to a new thread.

I'd sure appreciate it.

Re: walther ppk hammer spring on a p-64?

Why I'd want to swap an 18lb for a 13lb is a very fair question. The answer is I wanted to see what the difference in DA would be, simple as that. I do understand the concept of unintended consequences and was wondering what opinions would be if I tried it hence the post. Since then I've taken it ou...

walther ppk hammer spring on a p-64?

I purchased a wolf ppk 13lb hammer spring for my p-64. After a lot of effort (at least for me) to replace the 18lb spring I had on it, I am wondering just what I have done? Now, I got to admit that in DA the difference is remarkable! And it seems in SA that it is almost a hair trigger. So at that le...

Thanks for the input. I got to admit I was looking at them strictly for the price. Time to move on though.

comparison of pa-63 and cz-82?

I am a proud owner of a p-64 and am considering one of the two above. I'd be interested in the views of this elite group of their views of the pros and cons of the two when compared to each other. One factor I don't consider as decisive is magazine capacity. So I guess stated a little differently no...

answering my own question?

I purchased a replacement grip (leather) for a baseball bat. It may be a little too much for a p-64 as the girth may be too wide. I'll test that this week at the range. But........... as far as getting a good hold of the handle that is no longer a problem. In as much as they are made with leather I ...

wrap around grips for a p-64?

I have a p-64 that I would like to have a little more girth. I purchased a hogue wrap around grip and it worked fine. Only problem was the first time I removed it, it split. It got me to thinking was there any leather or composite product that one could actually wrap around the grips, that could be ...

Re: caring for the safety?

Perhaps I am a little premature as I've only put about 100 rounds through it to date. Can I live with it? Yes. Under the circumstances I guess what I'll do is wait till I put about 300 rounds thru before I do anything. What I'd like to be able to do easily, is to hold the pistol in one hand and with...
