Recoil spring.
I don't know but I'm going to find out as I have purchased both to try on my p-64. I'm not sure if I am capable of conducting a "scientific study" however. My plan is to take two out and switch shooting 5 round mags. I guess it will be entirely subject to how it "feels"? I'd like...

Novice Question on Bluing
I picked up a very nice p-64 recently from Cabellas. There are no bare spots at all on the slide. The slide itself if however a very dull color of blue/black. If I want a more shiny or mirror like finish is this accomplished by the bluing or metal work on the slide itself? If my question answers its...

P-64=PPK=Tomcat? size?
I'm looking for an inside the pocket holster. None are made for the p-64 as you would probably agree. However, on numerous occasions I see references to both the Tomcat and the PPK. How disappointed would I be if I purchased an inside the pocket holster that was identified for those other two, to us...

New owner...got a concern
I was looking at Gunbroker last night and recall seeing some offered for sale. You may have to play with the description to get the hit however. bib

Any comments on Blue Wonder?
The slide of my p-64 is very dull in appearance. I youtubed to bluing to see if there were any dummies approaches I might be able to handle. I came across a 10 minute video by Blue Wonder that seemed like something with-in my skill set. Anybody ever use it either as a cleaner or for bluing? I'd sure...

Not a beginner but........................
Now that is good information! Puts the whole issue in context for me. (in some of the discussions many of you start on such a higher plane of knowledge there are so many assumptions built into them I totally miss the point). that was what occured on this one. Norm always keeps it real, and for me si...

OMG - I fixed it myself!
Last week I whined on line about how on my first trip to the range with a P64 how the trigger recoil spring snapped. I immediately ordered those that are availale at this site by Norm. I don't consider myself mechanically inclined but thought I'd give it a try. Spoke over the phone to Norm on the pr...

ammo for home protection?
ammo for the range is not ammo for home protection, right? So while using something like fmg brown bear for the range may be a good choice, what are examples of good choices for ammo for the home protection scene? Or suffice it to say that a hollow point bullet works? thanks!

replacement firing pins - views?
With the understanding that the only dumb question is the one that isn't asked: is it reasonable to expect a skilled "machinist" with all the proper tools to be able to make a replacement firing pin for the p-64 pistol? Just as importantly would it be feasible? Finally, what kind of price ...

keyholes from FMJ Brown Bear ammo
If keyholes mean that there are two parallel tears across the hole in the center, I experienced exactly the same thing the first time I used fmj brown bear ammo last saturday.

Marschal grips???
I found the exprience frustrating also. But as everyone else has said it was well worth the wait. Would I go through it again? I swore I wouldn't but the first thing I did after purchasing the p-64, yup, I ordered another set from Dennis for it. The operative term in this experience, again is, patie...

talk about frustrating........................
It sounds like I have all the tools at my disposal to solve my own problem. And it doesn't sound like if you do it wrong the gun blows up either (help me out here people!). If I'm going to be a part of the p-64 cult this seems almost like some kind of rite of passage, so what the he**. But I do admi...

talk about frustrating........................
Got my p-64 this week. Finally got a chance to go to the range to put it through the initial motions. Put through the first 25 rounds with "remanufactured ammo" I purchased from my ffl. Absolutely perfect! The accuracy was surprising considering the tiny sights. But what from the talk I wa...

Radom p-95
I'd appreciate any reader feedback on their experiences with this pistol, and just as importantly how one would go about to purchase one. Finally, any comments on what the price points of the pistol are would also be appreciated. thanks!
