Re: p-64 box of truth.

Its harder to pull the trigger on one of these than on one of my revolvers and they have no safety.

Re: recoil pain

I put 100 rounds through my p-64 today. Didn't bleed just had a circle of sleightly torn skin on my right thumb.

Damn gun hurts your hand if you put 100 rounds through it.

Re: p64 need help bad any experts who can help..........

I'm no expert but I had a problem with my gun not going off safe and the loaded chamber indicator not being out all the way. Cleaning took care of this as the slide wasn't going all the way back. These are neat little guns. I bought one that was made the same year I was born, 1969, I don't know how ...

Re: I decided NOT to change the springs and why.

I carry 5+1 and 6 in my spare magazine. I always have six shots and I think it was probably designed to work with 6. Then someone came along and said, yeah but you can +1. But it wasn't designed for it. I have the 19 pound trigger and the 20 pound recoil spring. My finger wasn't designed for the sto...

Re: Best BB guns for christmas.

I had a red ryder gun when I was pretty young. 8? 9?

Dunno. I had a lot of fun with it and I never shot my eye out (or anyone elses) and I grew up with a love of guns.

My first "gun" was a 20 gauge franchi shotgun. Wish I still had it.

What did you end up getting?

Re: recoil pain

I actually sanded my grips to make the place where they meet smooth. Then I sanded my gun to smooth out the rough edges. Then I cold blued it. I would go to the range and put 100 rounds through it and be bleeding when I was finished. After I smoothed everything I stopped bleeding. Still sure know yo...

What can go wrong on these, what has broke on your p-64?

Question: I love my p-64 but there are no spare parts for this gun and mine is 42 years old. What is likely to break on these? And if you have a p-64 that has broke what part broke on yours and what did you do about it? Also how many rounds through yours? If I were answering this post I would reply:...

Re: SA pull weight

I used the 19 pound trigger spring and the heavy recoil spring. When i practice at the range i usually shoot the first round da then the remaining single. I am familiar with what ur saying but i assure u that after putting about 700 rounds through my gun I no longer double tap anything unless I want...

Re: My P64 Bit Me!!!!

After i polished my feed ramp I have never had an issue with feeding. I put a 20 then a 22 pound recoil spring and i like the 22. I trust my gun and carry it daily.

Re: 22 pound recoil spring.

I took the gun to the range with the 22 pound spring. The first couple of shots made a very muted sound and i had ftf and fte. After the first magazine it settled down and i put 94 more rounds through the gun with no ftf or fte. The recoil was reduced enough to not leave my hand stinging for the res...

JMG holsters.

I just received a holster from this guy, took a bit longer than he said but it was over the holidays.

Price is right and he has a drop down for the p64. My holster fits like a glove and is very comfortable.

Just throwing it out there as an option.
