Re: FEG SMC-380
I bought the pistol at Bear Arms in Scottsdale, AZ. It came with two extra magazines. Since then I have added Marschal grips to it. The IWB holster is a tuckable Desantis for a Walther PPK.

Re: FEG SMC-380
Took it shooting today after work. Was surprised how soft it shot. Much softer than my old P-64. No failures with Federal Hydrashock 90 gr JHP's. It's a keeper

That's great
How's the recoil compared to a P-64?

FEG SMC-380
Picked up a FEG SMC-380 a couple of days ago. Came with 3 mags for $230.00. No noticeable wear on slide and frame. Good deal?
Have not shot it yet, but will do that soon. What kind of JHP works best in this gun? I was thinking asbout getting some 102 gr. Remington Golden Sabers.

Recoil spring.
I tried both the stock spring and the 22# spring recoil spring using Silver Bear 95 gr. JHP's. I could not feel a big difference in recoil between the springs

Whats your daily carry?
For concealed carry, usually either a Springfield Micro-Compact in 45ACP or a P64. Both in Galco IWB holsters.

Marschal grips???
I ordered some grips from him too about 2 weeks ago. On his web site he states that his wife had twins on Dec 6th. Hopefully, he'll be back in business soon

New P64 pre-range review with pics
I bought a 22 lb Wolff recoil spring from J&G Sales. Installing it was a bear and I had to use a lot of force to get the slide back on. Getting it back off was also a challenge. I read on this (excellent) website about the stock recoil springs having flat ends, while the Wolff recoil spring ends...

IWB "tuckable" holsters?
Galco Ultimate Second Amendment Holster for a Walther PPK. http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?ProductID=1748&GunID=168 Meets your requirements except for criteria 4 and 5. I have the holster and love it. Even against the skin it's not that bad. The holster is probably the thinnest IWB holster...

p64 vs keltec pf9
I agree with jbabbler. I have owned a Kel-Tec P3AT .380 and a Kahr CW9. The Kel-Tec was horrible, wouldn't feed one mag reliably. The CWP also had some reliability issues, but a lot less than the Kel-Tec.
My P64 is new to me, but so far it seems like a great gun for the money.

How do you carry your CZ-82?
I will carry any of my 1911's in condition 3. The 1911's have a grip safety that would prevent an AD if the safety comes off.
With my CZ82 I carry condition 1 or 2. No way would I carry condition 3. I did in the beginning, but stopped after I noticed that the safety had come off a couple of times.

recoil info-come on, put in your 2 cents
I installed a 22# recoil spring, and a 18# hammer spring in my P64. Shoots great. Very accurate little pistol. Had a SIG 232 before, but I like the P64 more. Smaller pistol with more bite with the 9x18 ammo. Worst kicking gun I have ever owned was a 5-shot snub-nose Taurus 357 mag. The P64 is nothin...

New P64
I bought mine last week. Made in 1973. As new, except for a little holster wear. The DA trigger was soooo heavy, but I installed a 18# hammer spring. The trigger is much better. I took it to the range and fed it FMJ's and JHP's. No failures whatsoever. Kick is pretty good, but nothing compared to a ...
