Polishing Feed Ramp & Chamber
The ramps aren't coated, they're blued. And some of the ones I've seen have had visible machining marks on them. They fed alright, but could definitely use a polish. I don't think you're adding surface area by polishing smooth a roughly machine piece of metal. I'm using "coating" as a gen...

Polishing Feed Ramp & Chamber
I did a polish job on my P64 to stop a random failure to go into battery problem - worked great so far. After polishing, does anything other than normal lubrication have to be done to protect the metal. Looks like bare metal would have a tendancy to rust. Yes it will, and I was just coming here to ...

Hello Everyone - Looking to pick up a P64
I put in the Wolff 18 lb main spring and polished a bit on the spring post where it rides along the trigger mechanism. SA is like glass, DA is a bit heaver than SA used to be. Basically its as heavy as my Taurus .38 in DA. I'm happy with that. It's light enough to be very functional for me, and heav...

Its here......... http://introspect.net/YouGotSkitched/iPhoto-20091110-082329.jpg It was in much better shape than I expected and was even clean and oiled when I got it, albeit wrapped in newspaper (thanks J&G!). I got my spring kit from Wolf on Saturday, so I've got all the stuff I need. We'll ...

Hello Everyone - Looking to pick up a P64
Bear in mind that it was engineered for steel case ammo. Mine acted up with Cor-Bon. What ammo does the swat guy carry? I'll keep that in mind. Not sure what his carry load is when he does carry it, but we were shooting Wolf junk (steel case - I thin it was the "performance" line). But a ...

Hello Everyone - Looking to pick up a P64
Quick intro - I'm looking for something to carry in place of my Taurus 5-shot on my ankle, and a swat buddy suggested the P64. I'm carrying his now, and it seems like it is a great size/shape for concealed carry for me. I'm heading to the range tonight to run it through its paces. I hope it fires as...
