New P-64 owner
New to the p-64 group and have bought the wolff spring pack. I understand where the recoil spring and hammer spring go, but am unsure about the other spring that's with the recoil spring. What is it - firing pin spring? Two other questions: Why shouldn't you use wolf ammo? and Where can I get some ...

P64 size comparisons
Wanting to get a P64 and I'm wondering how it is size wise compared to a Smith 642 or a Keltec PF9. I'm strictly looking for a pocket gun and a CZ 82 is just a little to big for the job. TIA rigger7 I have a Keltec PF9. It's a tad shorter, but about the same width and height overall, but much light...

Picking up my p-64 from j&g....what to expect.....
Crow, sorry to hear that your P-64 was less than expected. I'm curious though, did you pay the extra $10 to have J&G hand pick for you? I did that with mine, and was very satisfied with the pistol J&G sent me. It may be also that they're reaching the end of the lot for this particular handg...

Picking up my p-64 from j&g....what to expect.....
Hello all, haven't been around here much for awhile. I sold my first p-64 (like a fool, regreted it), tonight am supposed to pick up my second from j&g at my dealers house. Also ordered an extra mag. What can I expect? Has the quality on these gone down, or stayed pretty good? As in, are they n...

Good to know. The ammo was $9.99 for a box of 50. Not bad these days. And it was plentiful. Thanks for the reply )merdenoms wrote:the monarch is 94 gr.

Qustion about P64
glad to hear because I want to buy another 1-2 p 64s in the future. I usually buy my ammo at Academy because they are the only ones in town besides Gander Mountain(which is a rip off). It is probably the Monarch ammo which you are referring to. I love the stuff. I have only shot silver bear hollow ...

Qustion about P64
Mostly just different stamps by importers and grips. I think the thumb rest grip is an import thing too. Earlier models have a round hammer like your second picture. Later models have a triangle shaped hammer. YOu can find more information on the P64 Resource page: http://www.p64resource.com/ Well ...

Qustion about P64
Round vs Triangle hammer is a preference. Some like the latest/greatest others like the older ones. I personally have a round hammer (Older) and I like it. I like the round hammer because less chance of snagging when carrying concealed. Don't think the trigger bar update make much difference but ot...
