Loose Mag

I'm having a similar issue. Even with a brand new aftermarket mag, they come loose at round # 5 prohibiting the slide from locking rear. That happening to you ?

Getting to know the P64 (longish)

I had the spring detuned on mine before I ever used it. I have to admit the S/A is kind of snappy. That said, this is a real comfortable CCW to carry.

Papapear, where'd you get the camo grips and the belt clip ?

Thanks, Walt

New P-64

First day out with new P-64 today. Had a new spring installed.Ran 175 rounds( 100 rds. Silver Bear --75 rds. S&B ) through it. Used two new aftermarket mags. Mag break-in instructions read: load 2, fire 2, load 3, fire 3, and so on until you fire six rounds in each mag times three cycles of this...

silver bear ammo - corrosive ?

Sure is. Read this link:

I ran a 100 rounds of 9X18 Makarov today. First and last time. I kind of like the way sparks fly out of my P-64. Like poor man's tracers.

Aftermarket magazine

Any one purchase an aftermarket off shore magazine from XXXX ? I'm curious of any malfunctions. The break-in stated on the instructions is a little unusual. Anybody bought one of these ?

The Buy Sell Trade board

Hi Dick, I can appreciate your intention to cull out the herd, but in the process this will dissuade a new member like myself. I've just acquired my first P-64 . Now in limiting the posts to ten, I've got a little ways to go to be worthy of member buying / selling status. In the meantime, I'm on my ...

p-64 purchase in NE Florida

Martylo & Rottenrick: Appreciate the feedback. I did the math on a purchase from both to my FFL.From J&G, $212.00 with two mags / shipping. InterOrdnance( thanks for the alternate resource!) $220-225. That comes out to about a half box of 9X18. I'll sit for right now, and see what else comes...

p-64 purchase in NE Florida

I'm looking for a p-64. I live just north of Jacksonville, FL in Yulee. Are there any dealers who stock the p-64 or is it pretty much an order through J&G deal?
