Re-tested every year? So if you buy it and it is approved one year, and de-listed the next do you have to surrender it to the Peoples Republic?

This has probably been answered before, but I could not find it. My friend asked me if the P-64 is CADOJ legal. Could not find it on their list or by googling.....

Why are we at the mercy of AIM, SOG Etc?
All I see on this and other milsurp boards are buyers beaming when the importers/distributors send an "unissued piece". It seems all they care about is moving volume and not about the individual needs of collectors. Understandably a handful of importers control the importation of BATFE con...

WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Welcome mrpancake! "I catch a lot of flack here in Texas for carrying a pea shooter"? Heck thats all you can carry in Texas in the summer without a fanny pack! I have never heard of a state where you get arrested for "printing" like Texas does. Doesn't surprise me though, don't g...

Front Sight
Has anyone had any experience with Front Sight Training Institute in Nevada? I saw an ad for their training and it seemed kind of pricey as in $99,000 for a "lifetime platinum membership". Followed the link at the top and saw advertising for a great "giveaway" that still costs ov...

issues during first visit to range
Does anyone have any evidence to support that most of the pistols with FTF are of the later years that have had little firing, or are they equally spread about between the later years and earlier ones?

Buy a set of Wollf Springs. It is well worth the investment. If you scroll back through the boards you will find instructions on installation and selection. I use a 20# recoil and a 20# Hammer Spring: http://www.gunsprings.com/SemiAuto/PolishNF.html I had to grind the ends of my 20# recoil slightly ...

The Buy Sell Trade board
So does that mean if we want to buy, sell or trade something like mags, springs etc. we email a senior member, they review it and post it for us, or are junior members are forbidden from buying or selling anything at all? I can see firearms or frames with serial numbers being the issue, but all memb...

Rfaudree, My gal carries a P-64. She likes the feel, fit and does not mind the recoil. She knows HOW to operate it, but can't physically pull the slide back. I don't see her having to do a tactical reload. She carries it loaded with the safety on. She can pull through the 20# hammer spring easily en...

Update on JG Sales Condition
Noticed something strange. The springs from Wolff for my new '73 are identical to the ones I installed on my '75. Both have new 20# hammer springs. The '73 STILL has a REALLY heavy D/A even after changing spring. Also the new '73 didn't need the 20# recoil ground down on the ends to fit when the '75...
