Re: My 5 P64s from SOG
Fired the 2 replacement P 64s from SOG. 12 rounds from all 4 mags. Total 48 rounds of Silver Bear 94 Grain FMJ. All went BANG. No problems. Very happy with the service I received from SOG.

Re: My 5 P64s from SOG
They came today. One 1970 one 1972 with triangle hammer. Haven't cleaned them yet but they look great! Will clean them and take them to the range (outside my kitchen window) this Sat. It's nice living in the boondocks. Website says out of stock but I guess SOG got some more in. Sog did fine by me!

Re: First time at Range - Magazine Jiggle
Did you mean when the mag is in or out of the p64? I checked 4 of mine and no jiggle in or out. Does this happen with different mags?

My 5 P64s from SOG

Re: wrap around grips for a p-64?
I cut piece of bike tube and slipped it on my P64. It helped but didn't build it up very much. OK for me as my hands aren't very large. I guess I'm showing my age but how many here used the old friction tape we used to wrap around our baseballs when the covers wore off? That would work on your hand ...

Re: Hornady XTP Reliability
I have some Hornady XTP on backorder. Looking forward to giving it a try. I have shot about 150 rounds of Silver Bear JHP through my P64 with no probs.
