How do you carry your CZ-82?
2. Magazine in. Safety off. Round in the chamber. DA trigger pull or manually cock the hammer to shoot. That's what I carry when I take my 82 for a stroll. If there were multiple safety systems I might go for Condition 1 (cocked and locked), but the safety lever on the 82 is a bit too easy to flip ...

How do you carry your CZ-82?
If it was in a loose holster (or bag, as it sounds like in the above story), then #2. If it was in a proper holster, I'd have no problem with #2 or #3. The 1911A1 has been carried "cocked and locked" for nearly 100 years. If I felt the need to carry, then there's no way it would be #1 (no ...

Can't shoot many
Mine was downright nasty to shoot until I replaced the recoil and hammer springs with Wolff 15# and 9# springs. It's shootable now but still not pleasant. That's just the nature of an alloy-framed blow-back-actioned pistol (that's not a Hi-Point).

Bulgarian Makarov
SOG only sells firearms to dealers, though anyone over 21 can buy ammunition from them. SOG used to list their inventory to anyone and reserve the prices for dealers, but that changed several months ago.jaz wrote:How does one order from SOG...?

Where can I get a CZ-82?
Classic Arms, Southern Ohio Guns, CDNN, & J&G Sales all have them. There may be more.
Some people blue them, but I'm thinking of bead-blasting and Duracoating mine.

P64 parts availability and PA-63
CDNN shows them in their .pdf catalog, but I don't know if they actually have them in stock. They seem to be drying up, too. I actually have better luck with these at gun shows and pawn shops. And jsmaye, if you know a source for the PA-63, could you let me know where?

P64 parts availability and PA-63
Makarovs are almost non-existent anymore. PA-63s can still be found. So can CZ vz-82s.I also thought about getting either a PA-63 or real Russian Makarov.
