Marschal,
I never did thank you for my PA-63 grips. They were awesome. I can tell you how happy I am with these. As being a "Lefty" The slim grips with no right thumb rest is a blessing. Thanks again.

Re: problems with Sellier & Bellot ammo
I'm finally back on this board after I figured out how to log in.LOL Anyways , I'm glad you posted this. I had a similar problem a few months ago shooting my CZ-82. I was using S & B Ball ammo .Had shot 4 or 5 mags . Every thing was great. Then I was running through a mag and I pulled the trigge...

P64's at Military Gun Supply!
Yes, I was a walk-in customer.I think they want around 200 for them which comes out about right with shipping and FFL.
The ones they had in the case were round hammers in good shape (not great) shape. He said they had more in the back.
Marry Christmas to all, Rich

MY FIRST P64
Thats a real clean one.It doesn't have the blue wear at the end of the slide like all three of mine do. I think fireing pins are ok to dry fire.I think pearced primers are what will break them. Get the wolf springs to fix trigger and recoil. Norm has the trigger and ejector springs. Zee or Marchel h...

Another broken safety lever
Well, I picked up a complete gun knowing the lever was broken.I couldn't pass it up at the price I got it for .I figured it would be a good parts gun at least for my 2 others. So..There is no safety levers to be had? Or , if someone knows where to get one or has one for sale, let me know. I have a fe...

How do you carry your CZ-82?
I read a story on another forum I think about a guy who was carrying a 82 in condition 3 in a bag holster of sort and AD'd himself right in the you know what's. It was told by him and not a relay story. He said the safety got bumped off and trigger got pulled while he was doing some activity. Ask him...

IWB universal holster.
I carry all my guns in #1 condition.I practice drawing and racking.I think this is called Israley (spelling) style.
If I thought I was in more danger it would be # 2.
No way number 3.Thats why I only have DA/SA guns.

PA-63 plastic flat grips
I know this is a little old but, I'd thought I'd bring this up. I bought 2 of these grips and they don't really fit quite right on my 2 pa-63's . The notch in the grip for the frame is not against the frame and it would be very loose and move areound. Has anyone else tried these or noticed this? Doe...

changing PA-63 springs
I ended up using the 15 lbs. recoil (which tamed the sting) and the #11 lbs hammer spring cause I had some light strikes with the #9 spring.I did use the firing pin spring that came with the recoil pack. plus I cleaned and lubed the FP channel and the extractor when I changed it. I love the way it i...

CZ 82 Refinishing
Right now I use Sharpie to touch up LOL.
Has anyone tried or thought about powder coating the slide?
I do powder coating at home and wonder if any one has tried it?
Maybe I'll try it.
Thanks for the tip of the stripper.I was thinking about if it would work or not.

Yahoo! I got one! CZ82 that is
I liked the CZ-82 so much I got a second one .I paid about 230 each.I think it's the best Makarov deal going right now. I have 2@ pa-64 and 2@ pa 63's. I like them all for different reasons. I think the 82 is the Kimber of the non original makarovs ;). The trigger is smooth as silk in DA and SA and ...

Which recoil spring and hammer spring?
I get 6 in the mags no problem.I have the 22 lbs. spring and It went right on ( what grinding?). It is a little hefty to rack but I had no cycling problems, even with JHP's. I did have to go with the 20 lbs. hammer spring in my 1975 cause the mag would intermittently drop out on the last round. I pro...

new p64 owner/range report
I also just got a 1970 round hammer from J and G and it shot fine like your too. I did have a little problem with the disconnecter lever in SA but a little deburing and a cleaning seemed to fix that. I have a 1975 and I changed the springs to 22 recoil and 20 hammer but, with this 1970,It seems to h...
