Re: **Handmade IWB Holsters**

I get a lot of compliments on the IWB holster and mag carrier. Keep us informed when you are back up and running. :)

Re: New grips

I see no problem with the fit in my US Gunleather holster I picked up a few years ago - In fact bought a couple more holsters and mag carriers for my brothers I liked them so much. The new grips don't interfere at all so I highly recommend both the grips and the holster for CCW purposes. http://imag...

Re: P64 Source....any out there?

Time sure flies. I remember buying these when they were about $140 at J&G Sales a couples years ago. With all the current political and economic conditions I suspect those days are gone so today's prices are about as good as it get. The best change for these pistols is that they became C&R e...

Re: Plum Slide

Yep, I have a few that are "plum". In fact I prefer those myself. It is due to the bluing process but I like the color and kept out a couple for my own CCW guns as well as a few of the standard black. Doesn't affect the guns but some people want one or the other it seems.

Re: CZ 82 question

I have stripped paint off many CZ-82 pistols and have reblued them. It's an easy process. I use Zip-Strip to strip the paint and Birchwood-Casey cold bluing. http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/9ca3629f1218a58b222b1cf431959c753ee8e874.pjpg The upper right and left I added marschal grips which really ...

Re: who here has an AK?

Got a few AK platform rifles. They are fun guns and relatively cheap. At least they used to be cheap. http://images.yuku.com/image/pjpeg/a94264e176aab25e1143f894a47274a36c81e585.pjpg A grouping of Russian Saiga conversions including (top to bottom) the 12 gauge Saiga-12 (top), Saiga T-6, SGL-21, SGL...

Re: FEG SMC-918

I like the SMC-918 better but they are more expensive and harder to find than the P-64. For the price the P-64 is great. If you can get the SMC then grab it. The SMC has the mag release under the slide like western guns rather than on the heel. I may yet get another one or two if I find them at the ...

Re: C&R Renewal

I let mine expire so all my guns are now "off the books" and I can cache some. I will make a new application after the first of the year and start over again. In the meantime I am getting non C&R guns and stocpiling milsurp ammo.

Re: 7.62x25 now available for folks who also have Tokarevs

Fortunately I stocked up several cases when it was half the price. At these prices I will pass and buy commercial instead if I need any. Buy milsupr when its cheap - you won't regret it.

Buy it cheap and stack it deep!

I have a US Gunleather holster and mag carrier (from Dick Funk poster here). They are very comfy. I also got another for my baby brother. Not sure if he's making them anymore tho.

Re: Why are we at the mercy of AIM, SOG Etc?

It's just a time intensive effort. There were a couple guys that ran Makarov.com that often sold parts and accessories for Makarov calibre guns. They shut down a few years ago as did some others that sold accessories. Just too much work for the return I think.
