Foundf the manual--sure 'nuff, says 27 parts--but that's counting the safety assembly as one part ( I think it has 3 components). Whatever the number, I concur, an excellent pistol that in my definitely inexpert hands can still go toe-to-toe (muzzle-to-muzzle??) with my friends' Kimbers, Springfield...

All I can say is the trigger on mine is good--not a "hair trigger" like my Zastava, not a stiff one like my P64 and Nagant, but like Baby Bear's porridge...juuuust right!

I carry it/keep it in the glove box with one in the chamber, decocked, safety off, ready to fire. It has a rebounding hammer, so I feel it is reasonably safe that way...
