Dis-connector

Everything else on the pistol seems to be in order. My gunsmith even thought that might be the case before he disassembled it, no such luck. I have had some gunsmiths fabricate parts for existing pistols in the past. Does anyone know one that would be willing to give it a try? Otherwise, I'm only go...

Dis-connector

In need of assistance. I have been informed by a local gun smith that I need a "Dis-connector" for my P-64. He checked a number of places to see if he could pick one up, but was unsuccessful. Would anyone know of where I could purchase or have one fabricated?

Sometimes, nothing happens

Norm, Forgive me for sounding ignorant, but I don't know what the disconnector is. I will try your last recommendation and take the slide stop off. You also suggested that it might be trigger return spring, is this something that I could purchase somewhere? Hopefully, this will remedy the problem an...

Sometimes, nothing happens

Norm, The trigger spring was off the knotch on mine, however, I was able to get it back on and the gun fired in DA as long as there wasn't a round in the chamber. Once I put the round in the chamber and eased the hammer back with my thumb or used the safety to uncock it, it wouldn't fire from DA. If...

Need ammo

Aim Surplus had some Brown Bear that was at a decent price, we went in on 3,000 and paid approximately $10.60/bx

Sometimes, nothing happens

Okay, so I went out this afternoon and fired it for the 1st time. It would fire in SA and very accurately, I might add, but not in DA as long as there is a round in the chamber. If I eject the round, I can dry fire it as much as I want. This doesn't make any sense at all???

I hope not, I only have 30 days to return if it isn't in working condition. I guess we can just wait to hear from someone that has experienced this as well. Hopefully, they are able to give us some helpful information to resolve the problem. Good luck!!

Sometimes, nothing happens

I received my P64 about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I changed out the hammer spring, let it set in diesel fuel overnight and cleaned/oiled it properly. I put a round in the chamber and went to fire the weapon in SA, but nothing happened. The trigger moved like the safety was on, but it wasn't. I then put the h...

Holster Fabrication

The P64 is so close in size to the PPK-S as well as the PF9, it should be fine to fit it to the P64. With the retention strap, I think it will be fine regardless of what I have in there. The mag pouch in the strap to go around the chest and back would be awesome and yes, I would like it to be from t...

Holster Fabrication

Would you give me a price for a duplicate? I'm okay with brown or black leather, but would probably prefer the brown. I would want it to be kind of universal in that I could use it with my P64, my PPK-S, or a PF9 Kel-tec. Any information from me that you would need?

TRIGGER PULL - First Variation Round Hammer

I heard from rottenrick last night regarding his J&G P64 and the trigger pull. I just received mine yesterday and noticed that the hammer doesn't go back as far as the one my brother has, before falling. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this on their pistol?? I'm not sure that it would di...

DA trigger pull extremely difficult

Sorry about the last reply, index finger not doing too well after trying to pull the trigger on my P-64. Yes, I asked specifically for the triangle shaped hammer. I did purchase from J&G and noticed that mine was the only one of the lot that had this issue. I don't think that the hammer is going...

DA trigger pull extremely difficult

rottenrick wrote:Is the hammer round or triangular?? I just got mine today as well. Get it from J&G?? It is tough, no doubt. But not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I'm changing the hammer spring and recoil spring. I'll set you know.

DA trigger pull extremely difficult

I have read the message board regarding the difficult DA trigger pull. However, I have noticed something on my P64 that is different from the one my brother has. When I am having the difficulty pulling the trigger in DA, I noticed that my hammer does not go back as far as my brother's pistol does. I...
