beautiful colt, i find myself wanting a colt 1911 more and more each day.

the clips dont come off? i'd of thought that they'd come off, as in the tape would be insufficient to keep them on the firearm over time.

My Girl Helped me come up with a cheap & effective solution for all the comfort problems for the P-64!!!! It softens both the recoil & the sharp trigger when properly installed! We call it the P-64 Maxi-Grip! :D I am selling them for $19.95 + S&H P.M. If interested!! :P thats hillarious...

wow i hope my p64 never has that issue i'd have to clean my drawers if it did while i was firing it.

i've often wonderd if leaving my mags loaded caused issues. thanks for the links and information.

Hi, been a member for a bit, first post today. I've got 1 p64, iirc its a 70 model year. Love the gun, fires well, i use it as a carry piece.
