Re: Buffalo Bore 9X18 Coming Soon

so anyone ever hit the range with the 9-18 bore ammo with the p64? Yes, I finally made it to the range last week. As I expected the recoil was noticeably a little more stout. Accuracy was good and I had no failures of any kind in ~30 rounds fired. I'd say it's noticeably more potent than the S&...

Re: Buffalo Bore 9X18 Coming Soon

I forgot to mention... These bullets (115gr Hard Cast) are ever-so-slightly shorter in O.A.L. than the S&B ammunition currently being packed around in the gun. They seem to cycle just fine *manually* if not actually just a bit smoother. I realize that doesn't mean they will feed properly under a...

Re: Buffalo Bore 9X18 Coming Soon

not saying its bad ammo and you shouldn't shoot it, but why would you want to shoot ammo that might hang up in the mag and not feed especially in a carry gun, until some like NB can give me a qualified answer on the P-64 & the PA-63 I wouldn't carry them NORM I'm hoping to finally get to the ra...

Re: Buffalo Bore 9X18 Coming Soon

For those that are interested, the 115gr Hard Cast is available now. I ordered 2 boxes. I have always been a fan of heavier bullets. I don't really care about the "+P" (supposedly) designation as much as its a heavier bullet traveling at a reasonable speed. I'll give them a shot and see ho...

Re: wrap around grips for a p-64?

I have used Brooks Tactical "A-Grip" on a couple of my other pistols with great results. It sticks on solid and they say it's okay to remove and reapply (though I haven't needed to on either of mine so far). Its not super thick but it does add a bit more girth and I really like the feel of...

New molded nylon P64 holster: pics

Mine came in last night. It does seem very well made considering the low price. My wife couldn't get the retention strap buttoned with the gun in place at first, but once I muscled it on there and left it snapped for a while it seems better. The only minor complaint I have so far is that the fabric ...

Thanks for the info. I just ordered one, so hopefully I'll be trying it out in a week or so.

20lb Wolf Recoil Spring, Had to file down the ends

The end or "face" of each end of the spring. I have heard it's very common to need to do this to the 22 lb spring but I hadn't seen it mentioned that you need to do this to make the 20 pound one fit. After filing each end nearly flat I was able to assemble the pistol normally. I have since...

20lb Wolf Recoil Spring, Had to file down the ends

I'm not sure if maybe Wollf has made some changes or there's something different about this P-64 I recently picked up. I ordered the 20 pounder instead of the 22 when I ordered a recoil spring with my hammer spring pack because I had decided I'd rather not deal with grinding on the spring. Well, luc...

FEG AP-MBP .32 - Which Wolff Springs?

I picked up some snap-caps locally last night and tried out the 11lb hammer spring first. I think it will do the trick based on dry-firing (using the snap caps, of course). The DA pull is now what I would consider "normal" and the SA is actually a tad lighter than I expected. I think for r...

What does it cost to renew cc permit in your state

Here in Ohio it used to be $45 for a 4 year permit. They recently extended it to 5 years, but it's $55.

FEG AP-MBP .32 - Which Wolff Springs?

Thabks for the welcome and the input guys. I've got one of them. I used the 11lb hammer spring - worked perfectly. I did not change the recoil spring. Don't need to. The .32 is so weak in recoil that changing the spring wasn't necessary. I realize it's subjective, but did the 11lb spring make the DA...

FEG AP-MBP .32 - Which Wolff Springs?

I recently purchased an AP-MBP pistol in .32 auto for a great price and am surprised at how well it shoots. My wife has decided she'd like to use it for concealed carry, but like most people she finds the DA trigger pull to be too much. Thanks to the wealth of info here I have already found that Wol...
